Enjoy the solitude of this little chic retreat! Waterfront views of egrets, pelicans, birds & sunsets will definitely refresh your soul during your stay. On property we have a canoe and kayaks for rent, corn-hole & a 122’ fishing pier. Coffee and bathroom items are provided. There is a clubhouse & 5 other cabins for rent on the property if you are looking for a special occasion destination at The Chrestos - Cottages on the Cove. The home is fully stocked so all you need is clothing and food.

Holly Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins, Holly and Dogwood, are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

The Stockard Stay a While

"The Stockard Stay Awhile" is located in the peaceful countryside 6 miles west of Athens, Texas off of Hwy 175. Recently remodeled, this charming apartment can sleep 4 comfortably. You will be close to Canton (First Monday) 25 miles, Tyler-45 miles, Cedar Creek Lake -10 miles, or Dallas -60 miles. We are located in a quiet rural area with cows, horses, and birds for neighbors. Come stay awhile and listen to the sounds of the country and soak in the beautiful pastoral scenes.-
