We’ve stayed in the area many times, but this house was by far the most peaceful! We felt right at home and had everything we needed for our stay. The grill and fire pit were great and the kitchen was well prepared for all the meals we made. We enjoyed sitting riverside and relaxing at the house, as well as easy access to the Warrior Trails. We also were able to trailer within 1-2 hours from Ivy Branch, Bearwallow and Rockhouse. We are already planning our next trip back! Thanks again for everything!

Place was very nice and clean inside, looked just like the pictures. Outside is a little rundown looking, but expected for the area it is in. Didn’t have any issues with neighbors or people in the neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. Anthony was very responsive to all of my messages. There was an issue with the bathroom sink drain and he offered to have maintenance come out right away, but we ended up getting it to work and told him not to worry about it. Great location if attending a tournament at Shawnee Sports complex or visiting a student at WV State University.

We had such a fantastic stay at this cabin! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet—perfect for unplugging and enjoying nature. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making the space feel welcoming and comfortable. Whether it was sipping coffee on the porch, hanging out by the fire, or just enjoying the calm surroundings, everything was perfect. We’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy retreat!

A nice getaway and perfect location for a wedding at The Ridge at Stoney Brook

Second time visiting Kaycee’s place for a Veterans Day weekend getaway. Had a blast riding the trails and sitting by the pond. Looking forward to returning next year.
