A charming holiday home settled in a rural location with easy access from the A1079, 3 miles from York Centre. Perfect for a romantic weekend, family getaway or for business travellers who appreciate a bit of peace and country air. Hagg Wood is beautiful to visit. Dunnington village is within walking distance with great amenities, a pub, hairdressers, chemist, supermarket & bakery. York is 20 min by car. Country Houses , Sledmere, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. Family/ friends, Male or Female groups welcome. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.
