We just enjoyed a fantastic week in County Mayo, and Ger’s home was the perfect home base for us! The house is as pictured and described - comfortable, clean, and well appointed. There are 4 bedrooms: 2 doubles downstairs, each with their own en suite bathroom A king bed room upstairs A room with 2 single beds upstairs A bathroom that is shared upstairs. The towels and bed linens were fresh and the home well cleaned before we arrived. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils and dish-wear. We shopped at the Super Valu in Westport and cooked several meals at home. We enjoyed The Tavern twice, but unfortunately Campbells was on reduced hours during our stay. We enjoyed the property’s outdoor space, which has a new picnic table and incredible views of Crough Patrick. The car park for Crough Patrick is a minute drive (or a few minute’s walk) down the road. We hiked to the top and it was certainly worth it! Ger was an exceptionally communicative host who made our stay perfect!

Our family had a fantastic stay at this property! It suited us with young children as the house was comfortable and clean but also. The location was great—just a short walk to the sea, restaurants, and other facilities, which made our stay incredibly convenient.

So much care was put into making sure guests have everything they need. The homemade brownies and chilled filtered water was especially nice. The place is in a stunning setting and the perfect distance outside of Sligo town center and in easy access to landmarks and hikes. Everything was clean, welcoming and easy.

There is not enough space to cover the amazingness of the wee pink cottage. It is without a doubt the most perfect airbnb l have ever stayed in and the most whimsical house I have ever seen. Shaun's eye for design is flawless and the whole space is beautifully thought out with quality as well as taste. The outside space is as unique and beautiful as the inside space. Shaun has created something truly special. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need. We wanted for nothing with the home made Victoria sponge and wee buns being a gorgeous extra touch. The wee cottage felt like home immediately and we did consider just refusing to leave, but that would deny other people the joy of discovering this perfect wee getaway. We'll be back!

This is such a beautiful and unique place, both the cottage itself and the stunning surroundings. The cottage had so much character and was extremely well equipped and comfortable. You open the door straight into the remote Donegal countryside with only sheep as your neighbours! It was incredibly peaceful and we wished we could stay here longer. The cottage is a beautiful walk or a 10 min drive from the sea at Port, with a beach and cliff walks. Further afield are plenty of beautiful spots to explore in this beautiful corner of Donegal.

We had a brilliant stay at Áine’s property! It is conveniently located less than a five minute drive from Westport town and very easy to find. We had a smooth check in facilitated by Margaret the caretaker who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the property. The house itself is gorgeous and perfect for a group due to the extra beds in the rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for self catering. Overall, Áine was a great host and we had a fabulous stay at her property.

The location is great, the place is spotless and has everything you would need. Also, only a 2 minute walk to McCarthys pub which had the best Guinness I’ve had in Ireland.

Enjoyable stay, good location. Comfortable house especially the beds. Good wifi signal. Pet freindly. Would recommend.

It’s a wonderful house with plenty of room. The location is perfect. Our family of four stayed here and we all had our own bedroom with one to spare. The view from the upstairs bedroom is gorgeous. Sinead is a great host! Thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend this house!
