Dog friendly Little Appleby is located in Egerton, rural Kent, the Garden of England. We are well placed for the tunnel with Folkestone, Le Shuttle 20 miles away. Egerton adjacent to Pluckley boasts many lovely country walks with huge Dering woods walkable from the listing and the villages of Goudhurst and Sissinghurst within 20 minutes. By car, Rye, Canterbury & Whitstable are within 40 minutes Ashford Designer outlet is 25 minutes away. The dog friendly restaurant and pub is a 5 minute walk.

Breathtaking lakeside lodge, 10 minute walk to the centre of Tenterden with cafes/bars and restaurants. Less than 3 minute drive to Chapel Down. Close to Rye, Camber Sands and National Trust Properties. We have great sunsets in this area which you can watch from the Garden room.

Our location offers a mix of rural and town experiences, at the foot of the North Downs and the Pilgrim's Way for fantastic walks and cycle rides. One mile from the thriving village of Wye with pubs, great restaurants and shops for essentials. Further evening entertainment in nearby Canterbury (15 minutes by car or train) and wonderful beaches within easy reach.

You are more than welcome to enjoy our large garden and pond! It’s a short walk or you could drive up if you wish, so peaceful!
