Amazing historical house. It's not for everyone but it's fascinating to see how people would've lived back then! Host was amazing as well. Left way more snacks and drinks than I could finish, and offered lots of great advice for the area, and always checking up on me to ensure I am comfortable!

It is my second time to book at Shoko’s place, it is the reason why my family especially my kids ages 12 to 16 loves Fujiyoshida . I have so many good things to say about their home, they have two houses which we both love . This time we got the bigger place, it accommodates all our needs, from a kitchen that i well equipped which is a plus for me since i prefer cooking breakfast for my family. The dining table was our hang out place , since we can fit in one which is very unlikely in Japan where most things are compact. The house has 3 bedroom , i think can be converted into four. We slept so well , the mattress was so comfortable especially the duvet which my children loved, i forgot to ask Shoko where she bought it =D. As soon as you arrived at Shoko’s place , as we have experience there is a bread for breakfast which is so thoughtful of them, also coffee for brewing. Check in is smooth and well assisted. My second stay with Tomoyuki since two years ago. Everything went beautifully as expected. The weather was not cooperating on one of the four days but that allowed me to stay in to enjoy this vintage tradition home and felt the tranquility it presented itself on a rainy day. The hike nearby was kimochīi (feeling great). The izakayas recommended were subarashī (wonderful). Tomo introduced me to spend a day at Mashiko. The famous pottery town was preparing for the upcoming Golden Week event and I appreciated "the calm before the storm" time strolling the quiet town. Some keepsakes were bought. I look forward to another visit soon, maybe in a different season to appreciate the range of activities available around the area.

Tetsuya san was proactive and had a great place, walkable near sea side. property is well equipped. Would recommend disposable brush sets for guests in future.

Mitsuko was a great host and responded quickly to our questions. My only caution is that the stairs up to the apartment are steep and my friend, who has a bad knee, had to be cautious on them. Otherwise the apartment was fantastic and met our expectations. Kitchen had everything we needed. The Italian restaurant underneath was also a nice surprise and would definitely recommend it. :) The apartment was 2 stops away from Shinjuku station so easy to get around using the metro or walking. Would definitely stay there again!

Очень атмосферное и традиционное жильё, в которое было невероятно легко заселиться - всё понятно и удобно. Дом выполнен в классическом японском стиле, что создаёт особое настроение и погружение в культуру. На первом этаже находятся четыре отдельные комнаты с футонами - это удобно, особенно для группы. Также внизу есть столовая в традиционном стиле, с низким столом и подушками для сидения на полу. Наверху - тоже отдельные комнаты, и общий зал с диваном, так что каждый может чувствовать себя уединённо. Всё было очень чисто, постельное бельё - отличного качества, одеяла - тёплые и уютные. При необходимости можно воспользоваться обогревателем - это приятно, особенно в прохладную погоду. Из минусов - при большом количестве комнат всего два туалета, это было не слишком удобно. Но в остальном всё было просто замечательно! Рядом находится прачечная и 7-Eleven - всё в пешей доступности, что очень удобно. Большое спасиб!

This house had a lot of space, and we really enjoyed our time here. The location was great and very close to all of the great places to see Mt Fuji. We would happily stay here again

Really enjoyed my stay. Very central location. Just 10 min walk to the heart of Shinjuku area and 15-20min by train to Shibuya. Clean space easy to check in. And free luggage storage which was amazing since my flight back home was at 7pm and check out was at 11am. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and very accommodating. They also speak fluent y English so it was easy to communicate with them.

Exactly as advertised and was a great host. Clear and fast responses on any and all questions. The appartment has great connections to the rest of Tokyo.

really lovely place, really great for kids. walkable to the train station. we walked every day with 2 kids ( 1&4). lovely space and comfortable would stay again

Un alojamiento muy lindo, cómodo, confortable, limpio y organizado. La anfitriona nos dejó agua te y maní de recibimiento y esos detalles siempre suman. Incluso nos llamó un taxi para llevar las maletas a la estación lo cual fue de mucha ayuda. Realmente recomiendo este alojamiento si vienen a Japón! Sin dudas volvería! ☺️

The house was in a very convenient location! There is a bus that’s about a 3 mins walk and it took us to all the places we had to go, or to the subway that would take us to our location. It’s also very close to Tokyo Skytree so we went there a couple of times on our trip. It looks exactly like the picture, but I will say the bathroom was a bit smaller than we expected. It wasn’t bad and we were able to make it work. The bed was also very springy, so everytime we moved around we could hear the springs. Those were the only downsides but we enjoyed everything else. Miki is so kind and made sure that we had everything we needed for the trip! She was always very fast with responding and when we needed anything she was there to help. Her instructions to check in and check out were both very clear so we didn’t have any trouble.

This place was right in the action, which is what I wanted from this experience. very happy 😁

Great with two toilets, two showers (same bathroom) and a washer/dryer, kitchen and access to the entire floor & upstairs playroom and balcony. The tatami mats in the rooms are clean, nicely set up linens with extras. Those of us over 40 had a hard time sleeping on the thinner tatami mats. I doubled up and was so tired every night that I never had a problem falling asleep. But just know that’s what you’re walking into. We highly enjoyed our stay and thought the location safe and convenient. The host was lovely to communicate with. We had no problems coming and going from the apartment.

Super logement. Nous avons adoré séjourné dans ce lieu. La vue sur le mont Fuji est incroyable. Proche de tout, vélo à disposition gratuitement pour explorer et logement très confortable. J’y retournerais avec plaisir

8人で利用させて頂きました。 　建物については、広い駐車場、十分なアメニティと部屋数、そして特に屋上のサウナスペースの良さが際だっていた。サウナの温度が高くロウリュウができ体を冷やすためのプールも用意されていた、またサウナをでてすぐに体を横にできる場所があった点も良かったです。 　建物以外で言えば近くに多数の飲食店があり、どこも良いお店だったのが印象に残っている。 　コンビニや海も徒歩圏内で、文句なしの場所でした。

Nataria’s place is beautiful and clean. The lodge looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The airbnb is located in a very quiet and beautiful forest. Tourist attractions are easily reachable as well which made this the perfect place to stay. Nataria was very welcoming and flexible. We would definitely stay there again!

We all really enjoyed our time here. We loved the house and it was bigger than expected. A few minutes walk away are fantastic views of Mount Fuji (when it’s not cloudy!). We used the local Onsen and spa facilities which were 10mins walk away, they do great food there too, which was very handy after arriving after long journey to get there (amazing views of Mount Fuji from the restaurant). We used the projector to watch some films, and played some records which was an added bonus.

Truly pet- friendly hotel, lots of pets supplies prepared in the living room which is so sweet and relived. The house is so clean and well-equipped, we can find basically everything in the house. The view is also gorgeous, having breakfast at terrace was an enjoyable experience. Great space for vacation and relaxing with family and group of friends.
