The Goldendale Observatory, Presby Museum, Maryhill Museum and Vineyard, Stonehenge Memorial and St. John the Forerunner Monastery and Bakery are great places to explore and are about 15 minutes away. You are invited to stay in a Klickitat County landmark, listed on both the state and federal registers of historic places. The Red House built for the ‘Horse King of the Northwest’ Charles Newell and his wife Mary in 1890, is now a distinctive vacation rental. The Red House’s three stories are furnished with art, antique/vintage finds, colored glass windows, original ornamental trim, fresh linens and comfortable beds. The house is well equipped and designed for relaxing.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

Enjoy a cozy getaway with your own private entrance in the beautiful town of White Salmon. A new queen bed was replaced from a full bed to make most comfortable. We ask that guests respect our neighbors by keeping distance and parking your cars directly in front of the property. This cozy one-bedroom guest unit is very clean, newly built, and decorated with charm. White Salmon is a small town up a short hill from the bridge to Hood River.

Our cozy 1 bedroom (queen bed) cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape. Located on 26 acres where deer and turkey roam. Just a few minutes away from I-84 and Hood River. Please be aware that a 4WD vehicle may be required for accessing the property during the snowy season of December, January and February.
