Enjoy quiet personal time or a romantic getaway at this cozy and rustic Columbia River Gorge log cabin, located in the woods just 25 mins from the PDX. Fill your days with hiking, berry picking or fishing. Then curl up by the fire in an intimate setting, listen to the birds from the front porch, or get your best writing done at the vintage desk! Supplies of tea, coffee and chocolate provided. Queen size bedroom loft with a trundle bed downstairs. Amenities include indoor shower and kitchenette.

Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

We are nestled in the woods within a stone's throw of the stunning White Salmon River. Our cabin dates to the 1920s (one of the oldest in the area but we recently updated it). 4 people max. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full size bed are available). A couple with one or two kids works okay too. What doesn’t work great are 4 adults who sleep separately since that means using the pull out couches downstairs. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.

Private A-Frame (for 4 people) and separate studio bedroom/bathroom behind the garage (for 2 people.) Please note: the studio must be requested in advance. The A-Frame is on the edge of the Mount Hood National Forest. • Walk or drive to the Salmon River trailheads and Salmon River Slab. • 15 min to French's Dome. • 20 to 30 min to Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows, x-country and snow-shoeing at Trillium or Teacup. Welcome to Heartwood Cabin, a custom A-Frame located in a small community in Packwood. The community offers private access to the beautiful Cowlitz River a stroll right from Heartwood and on clear days there are great views of towering Butte Peak. Heartwood includes a cedar hot tub, large kitchen, WiFi, 2 bathrooms, a full laundry room, and more. 10 mins to downtown, 60 mins up to Paradise and 30 mins to White Pass. 🏔️🩷

Our cozy 1 bedroom (queen bed) cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape. Located on 26 acres where deer and turkey roam. Just a few minutes away from I-84 and Hood River. Please be aware that a 4WD vehicle may be required for accessing the property during the snowy season of December, January and February.
