Wheelers Den is a cosy and quiet self contained house in a lovely rural village. Ideal as a base for experiencing authentic village life and exploring Nara, Wazuka and southern Kyoto. Amazing cycling, hiking, temples, 700 year old stone carvings, tea plantations, rice fields and mountains all close. Free rental bikes available. By train Nara is 15 minutes. Iga ninja museum and castle 35 mins. Kyoto 57 mins. Osaka 50 mins. Free parking for one car. A great place for a unique experience of Japan.

Azalea House on Mt. Hiei, Kyoto

Azalea House is on the slope of Mt. Hiei, a world-heritage. To get there, drive 20 min. from Kyoto-Higashi exit on Meishin. Or ride the bus 30 min. from downtown Kyoto or 20 min. from JR Otsukyo Sta. and get off before Hieidaira convenience store. The host will meet you there. Bus service drastically reduced since Covid-19. Free parking space. Easy access to both Kyoto and Lake Biwa. Rich in nature. Completely detached, full privacy, handy & cozy like home. Self-cooking is available.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

kyoto villa soso (Near Kyoto station)

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

滋賀県鈴鹿連峰の綿向山を見下ろす近江日野商人の町にある築120年の古民家を「懐かしくて新しい」をコンセプトにリノベーションしたゲストハウスです。 日野町の町並みもどこか懐かしくて心がおちつく町です、 そんな町の一角に「綿向山ビレッジ」は令和元年に誕生しました。 宿泊施設は1組限定です。 蔵サイト：洋室は3名様でご利用いただけます、ベッド2台と折りたたみ式ベッド1台があります、そして和室では3名様で和布団で宿泊できます、合計最大6名様でご利用いただけます。 特徴は、ゲストだけが利用できる信楽焼の浴槽（直径120cm）で、家族や子供と一緒に入浴できるお風呂です。 調度品の家具は、大正から昭和初期に作られた飛騨産業の「カリモク」家具で揃えています。 食事もリクエストを頂ければ御用意できます。 ◯ディナーは「店主の創作料理おまかせコース」7品が大人気です、3850円（税込）。 ◯モーニングは「オリジナルスープと野菜たっぷりのモーニング」も大人気です、1100円（税込） ◯飲み物は、滋賀県の地酒、日野クラフトビール、ワイン、焼酎などがあります。

We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. The price is scheduled to increase from March 2026.
