The house is furnished and equipped with your comfort in mind after a busy day exploring Iceland wonders. A hot tub and sauna wait for you after a long day, or you can relax inside by the fire and listen to the howling wind outside. On a clear night you may be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, viewing from the house is fantastic when conditions are right.

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.
