Great place! It's not huge, but a great value. Centrally located, quiet, has everything you'd need and a lot of options for food, shopping, groceries nearby. Recommended.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene nell'alloggio, lo consiglio vivamente! Molto pulito e spazioso, se dovessimo tornare a Kumamoto vorremmo tornare lì. :)

昨年利用した際に立地やホストの対応が気に入り、再び利用させていただきました。今回は赤ちゃん連れでの宿泊でしたが、ハイローチェアを準備して頂き助かりました。お陰で夕食の際はテーブルを囲んで一緒に食事を楽しむことができました。

During our long stay here, Kotobukisou was a comfortable and cozy home for us. The space is very clean and aesthetically designed! It has many amenities needed for longer stays too (cooking utensils, washer and dryer). The location has beautiful lush mountain views and a river, and is very peaceful. Even without a car, it’s easy to get around as it’s a short bus ride (10 mins) from Kumamoto Station, and has many amenities nearby (7Eleven is just next door, and there is a Coop and Aeon 15 mins walk away). Do also check out the amazing cafes and restaurants nearby! There is also an amazing Inari shrine nearby called Takahashi Inari Shrine, we highly recommend visiting it when staying so close! Super Apartment in sehr guter Lage! Beppu Station, Bushaltestelle, Bäckerei, Supermarkt & Conbini, Restaurants und Onsen sowie das Meer in unmittelbarer Umgebung - also wirklich alles, was man braucht :) der Beamer ist super und vor allem die Waschmaschine inkl. Trocknerfunktion war extrem praktisch!

Beautiful and clean house. Everything you need is provided, hence no worries. The floor bed is really cosy and able to keep you warm. We all had a good sleep.

Very clean and nice airbnb. Host gave us clear instructions and made it very easy to checkin.

The house has more amenities than expected. Everything you need is there. The hot spring is very good. Everyone in the family loves it. There are massage chairs to help you relax. The kitchen is fully equipped. Playing the piano with a view of the cherry blossoms is very good. There are also small games for us. Even though the house is a bit old, everything is okay. The owner pays attention to details very well. There are charging cables provided. If I have a chance, I would like to stay again.

일본 여행 중 모든면에서 제일 완벽했던 숙소였어요. 이 숙소를 떠나기 싫었고, 다음에는 부모님도 모시고 또 올게요! 청결,편리성,포근함 모든게 좋았고 호스트님도 최고의 인성과 배려로 정말 편하게 지냈습니다. 사진보다 실제가 훨씬 더 좋았어요🥰👍👍

Excellent accommodation with amazing onsen

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The ladder to the attic was thoughtfully put away before we stayed (2 infants). Neighbourhood was quiet and the house had plenty of space. We loved the bath and the heated floor mat! But be careful of the floor mat control panel, we kept tripping over it because it is covered by the mat.

Hide-san is very kind and was there to walk us through every corner of the house. The well-stocked kitchen was very helpful as many restaurants closed early during golden week. On top of that, the toilet and bedding were both clean and comfortable. We drove to Kuju and Aso; distance wise, everything is below 1 hour. We will definitely stay again next time!
