The loft was spacious and comfortable and the views from the loft were beautiful. The directions were easy to follow, and we found the place with no problems. We had the opportunity to meet the host and talk with her and pet the hounds on the second day. You might want to stop at the store before you arrive and pick up a bag of peeled and cut baby carrots to give to the horses at the gates of each fenced area on the ranch. They appeared anxious to come greet us and seemed to enjoy them and the attention.

Cillies place was great. Beautiful setting and a nice rustic feel. We had plenty of space for three teenaged boys.

Great crash pad....wished I would've arrived earlier in the evening to enjoy the evening air and surroundings tho, but that was my fault for dilly-dallying on the way up 🤦‍♀️😆😆

A quiet, private and beautiful farm house with a big secured back yard with surrounding farm animals. The house felt very comfortable and homey. Great place for children or a romantic getaway. Holly was an amazing host. She made sure we were comfortable and always answered messages. We will definitely be back!

I spent the day in retreat and staying at Carolynn's place gave me time for introspection and reflection because of the peace, solitude, quiet and lack of distractions like the internet and TV. It was a real joy to watch the deer feed and the sun set. I enjoyed my stay.

Our stay at Kristie’s was just perfect. Quiet, peaceful, away from town, beautiful sunlight pouring into kitchen in the morning, and Kristie and Scott were always responsive to questions if needed. Would definitely book again! My Companion and I were in Durango for some motorcycle and mountain biking. The parking in front of the Airbnb was large enough to park my SUV and small 10 foot box trailer; which was very convenient and helpful! The house was clean, comfortable and perfect for us. Full kitchen with most of the utensils and items you might need., including dishwasher, stove, microwave, and coffee is via a Keurig machine which was easy and convenient. There is also a gas grill out back which we used a few times and it worked great. Wifi is consistent, albeit a little slow if you are used to very high speeds. I also ordered a few things off of Amazon, and Kristie generously provided the shipping address, so it was no problem getting a package delivered if needed. Recommend!!

Everything thing was great! Loved the location and the view of the snow capped mountains! The bunkhouse was really unique and we enjoyed our stay there. I loved the animals and gardens and came away with some ideas I can implement at our little place. I am so glad to see that she has a water reclamation system!!! We will definitely try to make a return visit and stay with them again!!!

Great place for me to stay! I stayed for about a month and it was fantastic, and still would’ve been perfect for a weekend getaway. Close enough to the city that you don’t have to drive too far, but enough distance that you don’t hear any noise and night. Very peaceful and my dog loved it too. My only complaint is that there weren’t any great roads to walk my dog on, but the large backyard was enough for him to play and run and get his energy out! All the nearby animals were very fun to interact with too!

I want to start by saying my family and I have stayed at over 20 Airbnbs and Vrbos and Krii's place was one of our favorites! We arrived about an hour before checkin was expected and Krii allowed us to check in early! We were then greeted by a beautiful property, fresh eggs, and ground beef. The loft itself is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and well stocked! The attention to detail and needs are unmatched. The property allows for walks down to the river and pond. There are beautiful animals: cattle, horses, chicken, and a sweet farm kitty. In the moments that we weren't out and about, it allowed for us and the kiddos to relax but also still enjoy time outside. The location was about 25 minutes from downtown Durango. We did several trips into town, to Purgatory, and a day trip to Silverton. The drive itself was so beautiful that it doesn't feel long. Thank you Krii and family for sharing your little slice of heaven with my family! 🩷

Things to know: On cold nights, you might need to crank the heat on the remote up to 80. It was pretty chilly the first night, and I was too tired from driving to mess with it. I did this the second night and was nice and toasty. Bathroom is a little small if you need to get ready for an event and you may want to bring your own towels. I'm happy to report I did not get murdered, despite the hospitable book on murder as the first book you see on the shelf, lol. Hosts were super responsive! The beautiful countryside cannot be beat; the place was extremely peaceful and quiet! The chickens roam freely and are super sweet, as are the donkey and goat who stay in the back pen. Props to anyone making an effort to farm! Would definitely stay again :)

This was the perfect place for us! We were in town for our niece’s college graduation. My wife, my mom, and I stayed here comfortably and we were also able to entertain our wider extended family who were staying elsewhere, easily making meals for a bigger group. The kitchen was among the best equipped rentals I have ever stayed in, the house was cozy even when it dropped to -2 outside, the views were great.

At first when we pulled up to the cabin, we were a little worried that is was to small, but once we got inside it was perfect for 2 people! It's definitely a gem! The loft bed was my favorite part, it was something that most Airbnbs don't offer. The animals are super friendly and we got to pet them as well as feed them with Chris' help. Chris was such a great host and very friendly! He's also a great conversationalist, and very intelligent. My husband and I enjoyed chatting with him. He was extremely helpful and always just a message away with anything we needed. The property was extremely relaxing. We used the firefit and it was the perfect way to relax after a fun day on the river. We can't wait to return to Durango next year, and stay here again! We finally found a place that's perfect for us to stay at for our yearly visits to Durango!

Great house very spacious and clean. The cookies were delicious. Cindy was so helpful and kind leaving extra pans for us to use. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great place to stay. The view was amazing, so peaceful and relaxing. Janelle was a great host, super proactive and responsive. The property had a lot of helpful little signs which answered all of those random questions that pop up. There was an amazing set of amenities and the coffee bar was perfect. It was spotless and I appreciated the little slippers left for us to wear indoors. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was cute, cozy and very clean. The bedrooms had plenty of blankets for the cool nights. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials. The loft bedroom has a low roof and is probably best suited for children. The central heating was not working, but there were space heaters that worked very well. The scenery was spectacular, with the river running literally next to the back porch with the gorgeous mountains as a backdrop. It is a short and scenic drive to get to other resort areas like Telluride. We had a wonderful time there and would love to be back!

We rented the entire property for a low key vacation over the holidays. Joseph let us check in a bit early and was very helpful with recommendations. The highlight had to be the animals- it was so fun to experience such a different type of vacation than our norm. It kind of feels like elevated camping/cabin life while you’re there. Lots of awesome places to go within 10-20 minutes too!

Sue and Ken were awesome hosts!! They were really helpful and they provided everything a person needed and then some. As far as the Bunkhouse goes it was very clean and cozy place tucked backed in the woods and fully stocked with whatever you would need!! Great place and even better hosts, would recommend this place to anyone!!

We loved our stay at the strawbale cottage! It is spacious, lovely, and there are so many interesting and thoughtful details. Jennifer was very helpful and kind when our travel plans shifted due to bad weather. And the friendly black & white kitty who came to visit was an extra bonus! We'd love to stay here again if we're back in the Durango area.

We had so much fun staying at Holly's place. She is a wonderful host, even going to the point of bringing us a fresh bag of coffee beans and a dozen fresh eggs! The home if very comfortable and as a coffee lover, I particularly appreciated the espresso maker and grinder. The beds were very comfortable and in general the place is very homey. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We have two dogs and the fenced yard was perfect for them to run in. Durango is a fun place with lots to do, and Holly thoughtfully provides recommendations in her check-in book and on her website. She is also just a text away for any questions. We absolutely loved our two weeks in Durango, and on our next trip, Casa Luna will be our first choice.

My family of four loved this home just minutes from Durango. Farm setting, quiet and great views. Easy access to all the attractions in and around Durango. The home was really cozy and plenty of room for the four of us. Highly recommended and we will stay again.
