The light filled farmhouse with cathedral ceilings has exquisite pastoral views of Glenora (Valley of Gold). No wonder it is called Golden Valley House! Visit the farm-to-table restaurant by day (Friday-Sunday from Mar-Sept.) or stargaze at night. Watch the farmers tend the vegetables while you cook up a meal in the spacious open kitchen. Biking and hiking trails and swimming within minutes. Family friendly! Vineyards close by, too. Hot yoga classes available on the farm, too.

Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

Spacious kitchen is ready for the family chef but if you don’t feel like cooking the neighborhood offers a variety of pubs and restaurants. Many trails close by for walking or jogging. Kayaking around Departure Bay is easy as the kayaks are kept just above the high tide mark, grab life jackets and paddles from the yoga room and you’re good to go. Later you can relax in the hot tub. All this 10 minutes from the shops and cafes of Nanaimo.
