My family was looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this lake house was the perfect place for us! The lake views from the living room were spectacular. The house was charming and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more! The peacocks roamed the yard throughout the day and were a pleasant sight to see. The dock was enjoyed by the whole family! We watched beautiful sunsets. My sons used the kayak. We fished for crappie and caught a few! We brought our small fishing boat and cruised around Lake Harris. We made our way to the famous Dora Canal. The boat launch is minutes away from the house. We walked to the delicious bakery a mile away for morning coffee and pastries. The host was so helpful and available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay at this charming and serene lake house!

Stephen was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and flexible as possible. He was proactive in letting us know that the check-in time was available sooner than listed. His keyless entry made it very easy to access his house and made it easy for all in my party to come and go as they pleased. His house was very clean and you could tell that as soon as you walked in the door. Everything worked well, his AC system provided arctic level cooling, his pool and hot tube was ready for use, his screened in game room was fun and actually stayed cool throughout the day, his outside gathering areas had plenty of seating, and his dock provided plenty of room to fish. This location on the canal was beautiful and easily accessible to St John's River. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone who wants a cool place to stay, relax and have fun. Thank you, Stephen, for your allowing us to stay at your house it was well worth the cost.

Wenn man nach einer tollen Unterkunft in Orlando sucht, findet man sie auf jeden Fall hier! Alles ist einfach super, unser Apartment war geräumig, wunderschön eingerichtet, die Betten waren bequem, das Bad und alle anderen Räume sauber, die Küche gut ausgestattet und die Gemeinschaftsräume (Gym, Poolbereich, Garten und die Bar) toll! Wir haben uns überall gerne aufgehalten und wollten eigentlich nicht abreisen.

Wow, this place is an absolute gem! The kids and I loved staying here! Equipped with a game room gym, sauna, pool, hot tub—the list goes on!!! A huge bonus was the fishing pond. My 2 boys absolutely loved it!! Jerome and co were amazing hosts and incredibly communicative and responsive. Thank you so much!!!!!! Great host. Was very helpful and accommodated a special request. The house was beautiful with multiple entertainment: billiards, games, pool, ample space outside large patio. Great for family gatherings . Would recommend.

I booked this place for a five day stay with my girlfriend. The cabin is located on a quiet section of 44A just east of the walking trails at Lake May and Trout Lake. The hosts and their family live on the property, but you would hardly know. Other than a short, but friendly, conversation with Gabriel, and a couple visits from their incredibly sweet and quiet little dog, they gave us plenty of privacy. There are two units in the barn. The upper one, where we stayed was comfortable, and exceptionally well-finished for the price. In our conversation, Gabriel told me it was his first big renovation job, but you would hardly know. I've stayed in hotels for nearly twice the price that didn't look or feel nearly as good as this place did. We loved the full kitchen, comfortable bed, and free streaming on TV. Overall, we were incredibly happy with our time here. We will definitely be back.

This charming 1927 era home is serving cottage core ruffles and the flowery porcelain teacups of your dreams. We were transported back to another era when we walked inside, in a good way. Nostalgia with air conditioning! It was a short drive to bustling downtown Mt. Dora/Tevares. The house was comfortable and quiet. We especially appreciated the gated, fenced in yard so we could include our dog. It was really nice to have a quiet place to come back to after being in downtown with some of the weekend crowds. It was very easy to load in and out from the driveway/off-street parking. There are large live oaks in the backyard with lots of shade. Lake County is very dog friendly and there are many local restaurants that have outdoor seating so you can bring your well-behaved pup. There was also a neighborhood green space (no playground) just around the corner from the house. The grocery store was an eight-minute drive. A relaxing local getaway from our perspective.

The cottage was a great find and so cozy it made us feel right at home. The location is perfect you can walk to the downtown area and this place is also pet friendly. We had a great time staying here and hope its available the next time we are in Eustis.

Karla's place is very nice. Very clean, the screened in porch was so nice and there are sliding glass doors where you can see the beauty outside. The lake, dock and everything outside were so beautiful. The thing I loved the most is it is so quiet there. We live on a noisy road so this was heaven. We met Karla as we were leaving, and she is so nice. Directions to the cottage were perfect, check in was easy. Very nice place when you have a dog as we were traveling with our Yorkie. You will love Karla's place!

This was our second stay at Hunters place. We are planning on a third.

We came here to Summerfield to visit my Dad who's pretty sick, I say that to say this : This little cabin was a beautiful quiet respite from the stress of the outside world. It was private, peaceful, very well loved, the beds were soft and clean, check in was a breeze it was everything we wanted. The porch was amazing we sat out there listening to the rain one night. Melissa was EXTREMELY responsive when I had a slight loss through my own making ( I locked myself out WOW ) and responded immediately very kindly and the issue was quickly taken care of! Super super helpful. Location was great like six minutes from Silver Springs! Loved it loved the whole experience thank you both again for letting us stay!

We thoroughly felt right at home and comfortable. We were able to walk down the street to so many stores and restaurants. Hopefully be able to return again sometime. Our hosts were extremely responsive to any question we had but there wasn't anything we needed to ask that wasn't already explained or provided.

We had a wonderful stay at Lauren’s place! The home was beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked, and extremely clean. The backyard and patio was both peaceful and private and our children had a great time fishing off the dock. Lauren was very helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend her place to anyone traveling to the area. Thanks for hosting such a lovely place!

My stay was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, cozy, and everything I hoped for. The private lake was incredibly relaxing, perfect for unwinding and taking in nature. The cottage itself was amazing—well-kept, charming, and had such a welcoming, at-home feel. It was the perfect escape.

We stayed here with 10 women on a lady retreat it was perfect - all the amenities you could need and more with the kayaks and St John’s River and many springs nearby. Would definitely stay again!

I stay here often. It's a great place with an excellent location and everything you need.

First, the home is exactly as described in the photos, and when you get there, the house is absolutely more fantastic than we imagined. If you like original and beautiful art, you are in for a treat. The Fisherman's Cottage is filled with incredible pieces of sea-themed art, from metal fish to whales to seahorses to fish themed rubber sandals for guests. You just have to go there to experience the creative spirit that lives in the home. The cottage was immaculate, and Liz and Lee had everything you could possible need, including snacks. They were attentive and excellent communicators. It's a short walk to the quaint, beautiful town of Mt. Dora and a short walk to the lake. It's a must-have experience. All four of us had a great time. It could not have been better! Thank you, from Marylou, Nancy, Karen and Amy!
