Lake Huron : séjours à la ferme

We really enjoyed our stay in Kim’s spacious barn, with friendly horses and great views right outside the front door. We have loved exploring the area over the years and this is one of our more unique experiences.

This was our team's second time staying here. We love the location and large kitchen space.

Extremely beautiful, peaceful and spacious! House is comfortable, spotless and has enough spaces to relax and lounge around!! The views are amazing and the big windows allow lots of sunshine in. Kitchen is fully equipped to make meals and it was spotless! More than enough clean bedding and towels were available. Cleon and Christine have thought of every little amenity and provided for it. Everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The highlight is and always will be the variety of animals Cleon has and takes care of. His love for them is evident and he has thoughtfully provided them with warming sheds when it gets too cold. All the animals looked very well taken care of and content.. we enjoyed feeding the lemurs, marmosets, kangaroos, sheep, various birds, Guinea pigs.. and quite a few I am definitely missing 😊 Cleon set up a fire for us and it was very enjoyable and peaceful.. the ponds are so so beautiful and the sound of the waterfall is relaxing. We will be back!

Tom and Kitty were excellent! The island is gorgeous and the beach area is perfect. The water does not get too deep which was wonderful for the kids and my sanity. Perfect spot for a family getaway! They allowed us to use their kayaks, canoe and swimming platform. Tom also put out children at play signs which was such a thoughtful touch. All together an unforgettable family experience. Just lovely!

Luisa’s place was absolutely beautiful. We visited for a weekend with our family. It felt high end and luxurious but at the same time comfortable and cozy. The minimal Scandinavian inspired design is complemented with warm, natural textures and elements. Big windows let in loads of sunshine , a cozy fireplace keeps it toasty and oversized furniture inside gives you a soft place to rest. White lights through the trees, a hot tub and sauna make the outdoors feel like a Nordic spa. I can’t say enough good things about it! It’s a spacious, bright, cozy and intimate place to gather and have some R+R. Highly recommended. PS Luisa is super-friendly!

Hannah was a wonderful host. Beautiful place to unwind and connect to nature. I recommend having a fire in the evening. The interior design made the place super special. Will definitely come back!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. It is clean, spacious, cosy and well equipped for a long term stay. There is no dishwasher or laundry; though there a few options nearby . The lakefront is beautiful and only a short walk away and so is the downtown area with nice cafes, restaurants and other amenities. As other reviews mention, the stairs are quite steep so that is something to be wary of. We also found the wifi to be a bit unreliable at times. Regardless, this was a really good Airbnb with very kind and responsive hosts, so I would recommend to anyone and we would definitely stay againl!

Karen’s place was beautiful!! We felt so relaxed and at home. The bedroom is incredibly comfy and the little outdoor kitchen has all the basics you need! Karen is a peach and couldn’t be sweeter!! Highly recommend! Thank you Karen😊

Went to the barn this weekend for my boyfriend’s birthday! Loved that we could park right beside our unit so we could see our car. When you walk in it is exactly like the photos (even better with the detail in the ceiling). The kitchen has all the basics you needed. (Which was nice as I was making a whole seafood boil). Bathroom was my favourite as it had heating floors and even gave me an idea of what to do with my bathroom! Hot tub was very clean and warm! Bed was very comfortable that we ended up passing out by 10 pm which we never do. Over all this was a beautiful experience, my only issue which is totally understandable was I could hear the unit next door at times when they got loud. But even in a normal hotel that’s going to happen to so in the end I did my best to ignore it. I would definitely come here again as it was the perfect escape not too far from Kitchener. Amazing vacation rental, fully equipped so cozy, warm with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Beautiful view of the mountains with big windows, spacious bedrooms and all the amenities we needed. Zehra was amazing and gave us great pointers on what to visit and it was all worth it. We are returning home with great souvenirs 🧡

We had a super time in Gail Farm with our kids. they had a really good time with all the animals and the pool and the fresh eggs so yummy😍. This place is truly 5 stars. It is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. So many teas, options for coffees, oils, a full spice drawer, containers. Everything. The coach house is beautiful and the property is gorgeous. Very responsive host as well. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Cannot recommend this place more.
