Diana & Eric welcome you to join them to their family built log home. Though quaint and a tad rustic, we have modern amenities. Nestled in 11 forested acres of the Pine River Valley, we are just 1 hour north of Pearson & 45 minutes from Collingwood or Wasaga. Hike the trails, enjoy the hot tub and leave the busy world behind. Want to experience Frankenmuth in the best way? How about a room in a bed and breakfast in the heart of town. "Dawdy Haus" is Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish) for "Grandpa's House". When the kids have grown and the house becomes too big, it becomes time to turn it over to a child that has their own growing family. The Amish often build a new house for the grandparents - with a guest room or two. This is known as the "dawdy haus". This is our dawdy haus! we look forward to sharing it with you!

This basement unit has 1 bedroom, 1 private bath, living room with bar kitchen (not for cooking). This is not a luxury one, but a cozy "cave" for relaxation, meditation, etc. or simply a quiet and convenient place for travellers, workers, students to stay and enjoy breakfast from 7:45 am to 10:00 am (no special diets). This place is just a few minutes walk from the city center, with full amenities, laundry service, etc. We cordially invite you to our place, hope you will have a great stay.

Completely refreshed in 2020, the Inn sits in the historic area of the Village of Clarkston. This guest suite, named after brothers Jeremiah & Nelson Clark, for whom the village was named due to their contributions to the town. We've taken the bed & breakfast, originally opened in '94, & modernized it for our guests. We provide a continental breakfast in your suite, or you can visit one of several restaurants and cafes in nearby downtown Clarkston.
