Designed with the comfort of our guests and their pets in mind, Mountain Magic has everything you need for a fantastic mountain retreat.

Nestled in the WNC mountains, The Granary is the perfect home base to explore Asheville, hike the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Cataloochee, Cherokee, etc. all less than 30 minutes in any direction. Enjoy morning coffee or evening beverages on your private deck or the NEW creekside patio complete with fire table and string lights for cool weather. Bird watching is abundant! The Granary sits between the 100+ year old barn and our family cabin residence.

Our kitchen is fully stocked and the house runs on potable well water so you’ll be able to enjoy family meals. Only 10 minutes from I40, it won’t take long to get to the trails in Pisgah National Forest (South) or the front door of the Biltmore Estate (both fully reopened).

Drive 10 minutes to beautiful Maggie Valley or 35 minutes to Asheville to tour the Biltmore Estate!

"New" vintage designed cottage. Only 15 minutes to Asheville city limits. Drink in the pastoral mountain views from the deck, relax on the dock with fishing pole in hand or make smores at the fire pit. Our adorable cottage has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one on each level of the cottage, lots of privacy. During the fall and winter months, cozy up to the gas fireplace on the main level or take a nice relaxing bath in the clawfoot double slipper tub. Relax! Relax! Relax!

Blackberry Cottage

Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!

Craftsman style home built in 1917 with lots of character. Lake Junaluska is a resort area run by the Methodist Church. Lots of walking/biking trails. Close to a coffee shop/ice cream shop. Multiple access points to Great Smokey Mountains. Close to Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Resort, Waynesville and 30 minutes from Asheville. Five nice golf courses in the immediate area.
