Memento Vivere means "Remember you have to Live" and this 126 year old house was completely brought back to life by its owners with modern amenities and a cozy atmosphere, all the while preserving its charm. This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage is the perfect place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of life. This barn refinished into a rustic cabin will give you the feeling that you are in the middle of the woods while having the convenience of being in town. Located just minutes from downtown Clear Lake, the historic Surf Ballroom, and City Beach, this is the perfect get-away spot! A large upper loft makes this a great option for families with kids or a peaceful adult retreat. Pets are family... so we are pet friendly, but do add a $25 dollar pet fee (per pet) for the duration of your stay.

The Clausen House-Historic home close to the Lake

The Clausen House has been where families have been creating memories since 2018. If you need additional space check out the Schoolhouse vacation rental located on the same property. The Clausen House was built in 1890 and is a great place for large family Gatherings It has been updated with 3 renovated bathrooms, kitchen & laundry room. It has ten foot ceilings on the main floor with beautiful original finished woodwork. Close to downtown and the Lake with only a short walk!

Headwaters Hideaway

Headwaters Hideaway is the perfect place for you to unwind for a quick getaway, a week long stay, or an extended stay. Our cabin sits at the edge of our seasonal site campground on the shores of Crystal Lake (264 acres). Public access is within walking distance if you choose to enjoy boating or fishing on your stay. We also have 2 kayaks available. The kids will stay entertained with a playground and basketball hoops just across the campground access road.
