The Southern Illinois Wine Trail and multiple state parks are a short drive away, but you'll soon find yourself back in the privacy of our 28 acre retreat. The Scout Cabin-Carterville, IL

The Scout Cabin was originally part of a group cabins from the early 1900s. Over the years, different owners have made additions and updates, but it still has some of its original structure. Now it is a cozy two bedroom house with an open living and dining area, a bonus area with an additional sleeper loveseat, and a spacious patio. It is centrally located - just one block from the center of Carterville’s downtown - and easily accessible to many Southern Illinois activities and attractions.
