The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Hot tub pending repair. Layout: Studio style, 2 Lofts- storage & lounge. Well water, star link internet, Roku . Bring your boat(s)/ sxs/ atvs. We are located 15 mins to Lake Rousseau, Gulf, Three Sisters Springs, & Rainbow River. In the country. One cottage is long term rental and not available.

This property is a brand new construction home and is located on Lake Rousseau with the best sunsets imaginable. Enjoy this peaceful retreat after exploring all the adventures this area has to offer. A short drive to many springs KP hole and rainbow river. This property is loaded with wildlife and the best bass fishing around. Bring your pole, kayak, canoe, or boat . Ramp located 2 blocks away. We suggest not swimming in the lake because of local wildlife This is not a pet friendly property .

Nestled in nature yet minutes from restaurants, grocery and antique stores. Relax on the dock, deck, screened porches or around a camp fire. Outdoor activities: paddling, fishing, swimming, biking, nature watching. Pls note, 10 people 4 car max. For parties of 7+, there is a fee to unlock the 4th bedroom. No pets, no smoking, no parties or events.

Come to "R" peaceful, centrally-located, updated and newly renovated 2 bedroom home. Updated kitchen equips for your cooking needs. Master bedroom king bed. Second bedroom queen bed. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Only 4 people are allowed to occupy the home during your stay. Children are part of the 4 people count. Washer/dryer. Covered porch fenced in yard. Fire pit & charcoal grill. 2 dogs max, fee per visit. This house is only 3 blocks from private boat ramp for launching your watercraft.

Our one-bedroom cottage sits in the middle of over 25 acres of the beautiful Florida Nature Coast. Even though we are secluded, we have all the comforts of home, from indoor plumbing and hot water to AC and Wi-Fi. Our TV has a Firestick, so bring your streaming accounts and relax night away after you retire from roasting Smores on the outdoor firepit. A fold out sleeper couch takes this from a 2 person cottage to 4 in just minutes. Parking is not an issue, even if you have a trailer.

River Retreats Escape/Angler’s Paradise

Country setting, FREE use of the Kayaks and golf cart, or take the kayaks to Rainbow River, my place is on the “Withlacoochee River” so you would put in at the neighborhood ramp and paddle North to get to the Rainbow River. The KP Hole and Rainbow Springs State Park are 10-15 min away. You can bring your own boat, “there is a boat ramp in the neighborhood”, and local ramps in town. Relax by the fire in the evening. Peaceful, quiet and only 10 minutes from town for shopping and dining.
