We had a wonderful time! Kathleen was extremely helpful and quick at getting back with us. She had everything you needed to make you feel right at home. We had a great time on the pontoon and enjoying the great outdoor space here too. And pet friendly, our pups loved it!!

We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely come back!!!!! We ate at the Pea Patch one evening and listened to some great live music Nearby grocery store was also very friendly and had everything we needed. Our dogs also loved the place as well :)

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The house was perfect for our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 teenagers). We especially enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, frisbee, and the chess table.

Fantastic Hosts. Repeat stay we love this location. Fits every need we can ask for. We enjoy every minute of our stay and look forward to next year.

We loved staying at Kyle’s place! The host was responsive and provided clear instructions and suggestions. The house was very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of comfortable seating - loved the porch and outdoor space. The mattress was super comfortable, which is important to my old bones after a day of hiking/exploring! We were only two people, but you could easily accommodate a large family or group and have plenty of room! We loved the remote waterfront location, it was so quiet and peaceful. We explored the Baraga County area (recommend the Lake and County tour), easily made day trips east to the Michigamme area and west to the Keweenaw and to Houghton for a MTU football game. We even got to see the Northern Lights right from the yard! It was a great time and we are already talking about coming back!

This was our second (annual) stay and we are already talking about returning again next year. We had such a great stay! The location is great for us - lots of great hikes and interesting places to visit within an easy drive. The amenities of the cabin are all first rate. We especially enjoyed the full kitchen and grill and enjoyed fabulous home-cooked meals every evening. The view of the river from the cabin is so beautiful. We enjoyed seeing how it changed from moment to moment and day to day. At times there was mist rising from the water, at other times, the water sparkled brightly. Truly beautiful. We have been so looking forward to this year's week at the cabin - and it did not disappoint. I most highly recommend it to you!

It was so peaceful being out in nature, in the woods and by the water. The views waking up every morning and night were wonderful. Living in a large city in the Lower Peninsula, this was the getaway my boyfriend and I needed!

Beautiful cabin with plenty of space. We would absolutely stay here again. The host was responsive and clearly answered all our questions so we knew what to expect. Our only noted challenge was backing a 44 foot race trailer into the driveway with fresh snow, but with some effort we got it in there! Surroundings are stunning, would love to see this place in the summer!

I stayed this past weekend for a funeral. And I’d come back! Granted, I’m from Kingsford so I know the area. But this place is a little jewel. They even had a fire pit, with pre cut wood. What a thoughtful amenity! The host was responsive/ property clean. Everything an Airbnb should be. Kudos! 🙌🏻👍🏻 All said, a couple of minor small observations. -Dust the dining room chairs, especially the rails. (I inspected hotel rooms for 20+ yrs.). ☺️🤷‍♂️ -That sliding door didn’t instill confidence. -An electronic lock with a code would be awesome. -T-mobile internet. ($55 per mth). We had a great stay at the cabin. The location is gorgeous with views of the lake. The cabin has been nicely renovated and had everything we needed. Nadine was great at communicating and answering questions. Highly recommend.

Cara was very responsive and was quick to answer any questions we had. The home was clean and modern. Everything was very clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to others.

The mist clearing on the lake in the morning sun reveals the changing colors of trees in the Fall Season. At night, the constellations sparkle strongly and clearly in the dark sky. And the sounds of silence increase the sense of peace and wonder. This is what you can experience whether sitting around a lakeside fire or sitting in the front room of the cottage. And making a home cooked meal is a pleasure as well...the kitchen supports good cooking and the dining room table supports warm and interesting conversations. Thanks, Leanne

What a wonderful place to get away and recharge! We have 3 kids and manage a business in Traverse City. That said we are always on the go. Staying at Little Betsy really help my partner and I focus on eachother and reconnect! Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest, we had moments or clear skies and got to really enjoy the view from the cabin. We hiked Hungarian Falls which is only 30 minutes away and ate at Loading Zone ||. Food was wonderful and so where the people! 110% recommend! We are excited to make future plans to come back! Thank you for letting us stay!

The cottage was a fantastic place to stay! It was cozy, had plenty of amenities, and was situated by a beautiful lake that was wonderful to wake up to.

Donna’s place was so special! My family and I enjoyed our time here playing games, taking in the view from sunrise to sunset, and even night time where we saw the sky full of stars. Donna and Brian were very quick with replies and were very accommodating with all requests. I would definitely stay again and definitely recommend to all looking for a peaceful and beautiful stay. What a great place to stay🤗I like rustic, clean, private and a peaceful environment..This place had every thing we needed.We could take our dogs which was a huge plus..I think they liked it better than our own cabin in the U.P..On a small lake which meant no motor boats..The loons were very entertaining..The price was very affordable..I definitely would stay here again..

I LOVED my stay at Loon Lake Lodge. Andrea and Derek are super friendly and helpful, and the entire area is so beautiful and quiet. The pizza and ice cream sandwiches are a fun treat. I started every day with about an hour back and forth between the sauna and the lake, both absolutely perfect. There is a pretty good chance I'll be back next September!

What a wonderful cabin to get away from everyday life. This hidden gem is right on the lake with incredible sunsets and sunrises. We got to fish right off of our own private dock, Bethany and Cole had a fire pit already for us to use and a basket of all the fixings for s’more. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed, but being so close to the lake I would recommend you bring your own drinking water. Bethany and Cole answered all of our questions and were so friendly, we stayed for four days only, I just wish we could have stayed for the whole summer.

Steve and Jill's place is an absolute gem. What they offer is an authentic Northwoods experience. The lodge is a perfectly restored 1900s-era building with a magnificent bar overlooking Moccasin Lake. We stayed in the cabin, which was very private, comfy, and a perfect extension of the lodge. As for the lake, Moccasin Lake checks all the boxes. It is completely private, offers outstanding fishing, and, most importantly, provides complete serenity. Whether you are fishing, kayaking, or just sitting on the pier, the soundtrack will be provided by the call of the loons. On our final evening, while enjoying a campfire, the loons were joined by a fox calling for her kits, with great horned owls adding to the chorus. As hosts, Steve and Jill are among the best I've encountered at any Airbnb or VRBO. In a very short time, they will make you forget that you are guests and give you the sensation that you have been morphed into close friends or family who have been coming to the lake for years.

This is a slice of heaven. The fall colors around the lake were breathtaking. Nice cabin, beautiful location, good host.

I can’t say enough good things about Chad (and his co-hosts) and his place! First we had to delay our trip by a day due to a snowstorm and he offered to check us in a day early to beat the storm, but unfortunately it didn’t work with our schedule. He checked in with us throughout our stay making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He responded almost immediately when I messaged him about questions. Super friendly and accommodating!! Then his place- wow! What a gem! Amazing location on the lake, super clean, great decor and art, comfortable beds & furniture, fully stocked kitchen making cooking easy, garage to use if needed. Enjoyed the books, games and puzzles as well. Also the hot tub! We didn’t use the sauna so I can’t speak to that. Honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had (and we have had many both across the US and abroad). We cannot wait to come back here again!
