Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

Channel your inner Mark Twain. Read, rock, and relax on the water, at the foot of a retired Northern Pacific Ore dock. The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. This simple 12 x 12 foot north woods structure is well-maintained & clean. Penny's Peak is a visually secluded rustic campsite. Guests have full access to our groomed hiking trails and stunning wilderness.

Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

The Järvi cabin is one of the brand new cabins on the lake at Stay Boreal between Lutsen and Tofte. Featuring full frontal glass overlooking the lake, heated floors, a patio space with a gas firebowl, free level 2 EV charging and even a treehouse sauna. We can't wait to share it with you! This cabin comfortably suits two with a capacity of up to four (1 king bed and 1 murphy style queen bed). It has a smaller, cozy layout.

Located in Bayfield's charming Fruit Loop, you'll be surrounded by vines, forest, orchards, and berry farms. The Scandinavian cabin, forest facing sauna with plunge pool, and vineyard sit within acres of secluded woods. The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog. There is a $40 pet fee.
