Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

Rustica Retreat is a unique tiny house, designed by my husband and I, that maximizes the limited space we have. At 256 square feet, Rustica sounds small, but feels spacious. With 10-foot high vaulted ceiling, as well as six windows that bring the outside, in. Rustica fits her name, with a country chic feel to her. The inside has clean lines, white shiplap walls, wood accented ceiling and counters, and metal accents. Located at Red Barn Farm, a micro fresh cut flower farm in SW WI.

The log cabin was built as a place to unwind, relax, and truly unplug. Nestled among 15 acres of rolling hills, the cabin can serve as a place to hunker down and read three novels, or a home base for hiking, cycling and putting the nature back in your life. Be advised, there is NO television and that’s for good reason. Cook, drink, eat, play, relax and refresh yourself. Wake up to the songs of birds and listen to the owls at night while you’re warming yourself around a bonfire.

With eagles nesting nearby, there is always something new to see from the beautiful sunrises, cruise ships passing by, and watching the commerce of the barges and railroad right out the front window! It offers a peaceful respite with a kitchenette, large fireplace, and a riverside deck. It has a bedroom with a queen size bed and two twins in the great room. Enjoy hiking, playing board games, cooking, grilling out, or a just lazy night of TV and popcorn by the fire.
