A charming converted stable offering the tranquillity of a semi-rural location yet just a few minutes' walk to the amenities of historical Le Dorat. The lovely gardens are home to numerous fruit & nut trees, and shared by the owners resident donkeys, chickens and 5 rescue cats.

The beautiful old Abbey Town of Charroux is 8 Kms distant and we are within half an hour of Civray, Ruffec & Confolens.

La Perdrix gite is deceptively spacious (60 sqm) blending charm and character with original beams and exposed stone walls. Ideal for 2 but can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. Ground floor: main bedroom with king size bed, bathroom, kitchen, living/dining room. Upstairs: 1 double bed on the mezzanine. All linen and bathroom towels provided. The private terrace is equipped with table, chairs & parasol overlooking the amazing heated pool and countryside beyond. Sorry no pets.

It has been sympathetically restored, combining traditional character with contemporary comfort. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), bathroom (with bath and shower), and open plan lounge-kitchen downstairs. All mod cons are provided: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, wood-burning stove, TV.
