Old Rustic Country Store

Get ready to experience a one of kind stay that will take you back in time! This space housed Bob & Betty’s Grocery store starting in 1974, and for 48 years, the store was selling bologna sandwiches and cold pops. Now remodeled into a residential stay, the moment you drive up to the property you will reminisce on the old signs, memorabilia, and pictures covering the walls inside and out. Nestled between two mountains, near Bad Branch Falls, Kingdom Come State Park, and plenty of mountain views!

A multitude of trails are available for riding, with walking paths on the property. Riding tours are also offered. The accommodation features a newly remodeled one full bed, a walk-in shower, and all the amenities, including a complete mini kitchen and a 32" TV. It's a peaceful and relaxing retreat after a day spent exploring the trails.

Plenty of parking; can accommodate trailers & RVs. RV park is a 45-minute drive.

You’ll find many of the luxuries of a fine home here, but in a smaller home more suitable for a solo traveler, a couple, or small family. Enjoy two large living rooms, one of which is the newly added “log room”, cozied up in front of the gas fireplace for games, movies, or just to relax with a good book and a hot cup of coffee.

Guided horse and ATV rides can be arranged (MUST schedule ahead of time).

Dandelion Bungalow

This special place is close to downtown Whitesburg and right across from the entrance of Tanglewood Trail. It is within walking distance of Kentucky Mist, a few local restaurants, a recreational center, the farmer’s market, and Cane Kitchen. We are located at the foot of the scenic Pine Mountain and a short drive to hiking trails, overlooks, and other attractions.
