Welcome to the Hawthorn School and cottage! With a quick walk to Pemaquid Beach this spacious four bedroom, two full bath home is ready to host your family for a relaxing trip to midcoast Maine. Recently renovated and beautifully decorated, this is a wonderful landing pad to explore Mid-coast and Monhegan or just spend a quiet week at the beach. For boaters: we are a quick walk to the new boat ramp at pemaquid and the public landing and mooring access is available for a fee.

Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Less than 400 yards from Pemaquid Beach State Park! Ocean Breeze is a small (550sqft) 2 bedroom seasonal guest cottage with bathroom, kitchen & living area, smart TV, outdoor picnic table, lounge chairs & grill. The cottage is situated next to the main Laughton House. As this is an uninsulated seasonal cottage there is no central heating or air conditioning but we do provide fans for the warm weather and portable heaters & blankets for cooler weather.
