Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

This place is a gem! Anthony was a wonderful, friendly host. The property was clean, modern, and spacious. Remote enough to feel like you've escaped, but close enough to necessary amenities (like groceries), and just under and hour drive to Acadia National Park! Wouldn't hesitate to consider rebooking for a trip in the future!

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

A group of us stayed at Camp Lamoine and were impreased with this property! It was close to Acadia National Park and other areas we decided to go. Spectacular yard and even had a place for a campfire! Comfortable inside and would stay again. Thanks!

Chausey was a great host and was very responsive when I reached out. The place was well kept, very cozy, and matched the list of amenities listed on the AirBNB listing. It truly felt like a home away from home. I really enjoyed the location and how it was tucked away but within driving distance of downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Great location! Very quiet neighborhood and perfect little spot for visiting family in Ellsworth. Super convenient to all the local shops and restaurants. Within 30 mins to Acadia, so that’s a huge plus! I would definitely stay again!

This was a great location for me to stay while waiting for my husband and son to hike out of the 100 mile wilderness on their way to Mount Katahdin. They were able to take a zero day and enjoy a grilled steak! Kim was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The house is exactly as shown.

We had a wonderful time in Dedham and the Narrows Lake House was a great home base. The lake is absolutely beautiful, and the house is relatively close to Ellsworth and Bangor, as well as Acadia. Really nice place to wake up every morning (with the added plus of a very friendly dog named Miss Aspen who will definitely say hi!). The house is pretty far back on a long and narrow gravel road, so it's not particularly walkable and you'll want to have a car that's at least a little bit suited for it. Our rented minivan was just fine but an older vehicle or one with dim headlights might make it a little tricky. The floors are also quite thin and sound travels downward, so if you have kids or louder members of your group, you'll want to have them stay in the basement if possible. Finally, Colleen was a kind and attentive host! She reached out before the stay, which was very appreciated, and is delightful to talk to. You'll be very well taken care of if anything does happen.

We had a great stay. The location was ideal and everything we needed was supplied. The house was exactly as pictured and well stocked and very clean. Chelsey was very responsive to any questions and they also dropped off some very thoughtful sweet treats! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again!

Serene setting appealing decor easy access

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

We had a great stay! The place was super clean, cozy, and everything was perfectly organized. The area is beautiful and very peaceful — we loved exploring around. The host was really welcoming and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend it and would love to come back someday!

This was the second time we have stayed here and we will go back again. Great location to town (walking distance).

Nancy greeted us warmly upon arrival, making us feel instantly welcome. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood with ample parking and offers thoughtful touches like muffins, coffee, tea, and bottled water. Prices are extremely reasonable. The space was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-stocked with extra blankets, pillows, and bath linens. We will definitely stay at Nancy’s again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Pittsfield area.

John’s place was absolutely lovely! It was completely spotless and the apartment was beautiful, from decor to the high ceilings and open spaces. He was super helpful and descriptive and we easily found the location and got in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be rebooking when we are staying in the area again!

This was our best trip so far! Bradley sent us amazing directions to find the location that was spot on. The place was designed and built beautifully! William was a nice thing to have being out in the unorganized territory. He was so friendly and there if we needed.

The cabin was exactly as described. The cabin had everything we needed for our four night stay while we visited family in the area, very quaint and quiet. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and their dogs. They gave us the heads up of possibly adding more cabins which interested us. We have a large family and would love to return to the Knotty Pine Trailside Cabin complex and rent out a few for the whole family. Great place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful. Kitchen had everything you need, outhouse even had floss picks and everything was so clean! Cabin was perfect and has heat and warmed up so fast. Super quiet outside, never felt unsafe and could see lots of stars. Amazing place and great deal for location and amenities.

We loved staying at the cabin! It was 2 adults and one infant, and we had plenty of space to setup a pack n play for the baby to sleep. It was very clean, even for such an old cabin. The heat worked good since it was still cold in April. Lisa came over to introduce herself and asked if we needed anything, super friendly. It’s perfect for a short stay with a small family/couple. Just remember to bring your own towels :) The front porch with the rocking chairs is awesome as well. We will stay here again the next time we are in the Skowhegan area!

Spent a week on a family snowmobiling trip at Greg's place. This spot offers access to some of the absolute best riding in the state! The place was very accommodating and spacious. It is a true camp, but certainly has some modern amenities and comforts. Just remember, it is a true Maine camp. If you are looking for a place to use as HQ for a snowmobile or ATV trip, I highly recommend Greg's place. Greg is also a very responsive and helpful host.

A lovely spot for a weekend getaway in nature! Denise was super nice and the cabin was quiet, peaceful, rustic, and surrounded by trees. Excellent price for the area and her restaurant just up the road had delish food, I highly recommend checking it out. Would definitely stay here again 😊
