Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Our spacious bungalow offers five bedrooms, three ensuites and a family bathroom, Lounge, conservatory, dining room and kitchen. We are not a five star hotel! Please note before booking that this is a well used and loved family home with grandchildren and dogs. Not a perfected holiday home only. Property situated in the tranquil surroundings of Birnam wood and the River Tay. Dunkeld is close by and Pitlochry is a short drive away. Built in 1809 by the Duke of Atholl as accommodation for the manager of the grocery shop below, the property retains many original historic features, including sash windows and wooden shutters in the main room.

The landscape and surrounding scenery is breathtaking and being one mile down a private road a real retreat from busy everyday life, with nature and wildlife in abundance.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

The Lodge, Heath Park

The Lodge is the two storey annexe of Heath Park, one of the holiday homes of Beatrix Potter. It is within easy walking distance of the rail station and intercity bus stop. A parking space is adjacent to the house. The Lodge has been recently refurbished with new ensuite bathroom and kitchen and new furniture. It is accessed through the main gates of Heath Park which lead to a stone gateway and small hard landscaped area.

Dunaird Cottage is nestled in the courtyard of Dunaird House, a Scottish baronial style mansion, which was designed to make the most of the stunning views of Birnam Hill from the gardens of its hilltop location. Inside, there is a cosy kitchen/diner and lounge area with sofa bed, a double bedroom and shower room with toilet, and outside, a sheltered outdoor setting area. Bedding and towels included.
