Teresa's place was simply stunning. Nothing beats the view and it was extremely close to the location where we were attending a wedding. They thought of everything, down to the travel amenities and simple breakfast food they provided. I shouldn't have packed so much! She was extremely responsive to my questions and I would recommend this place to anyone.

After we got passed Airbnb giving us the wrong code to enter the apartment we had no further problems and enjoyed our stay. The co-host Lorraine was very helpful. The train and highway traffic were annoying but, tolerable. We prefer more of a country setting. This apartment was in the suburbs so it was close to amenities, which was a positive aspect.

Our stay was above and beyond what we expected! The suite was extremely clean and very inviting! Jen and her husband are very welcoming! They both took time out of their days to recommend local places to visit while we were here! Once we arrived they gave us a thorough tour and even showed us the event center that is on the property! No details have been forgot about! There is a dog park for pets, a Sauna, hot tub, game closet for rainy days (for all ages!) and a playground for the kids! We truly felt right at home and absolutely loved staying here! We would definitely recommend this location to others!!!

What can I say about Rachel? 5 stars isn’t enough! What a thoughtful host she is!!! We came in during Christmas and she reached out prior to our arrival and offered to decorate for us! Who does that? RACHEL DOES! It’s going to be tough to stay at another Air B&B after dealing with Rachel! The place was perfect for our needs while visiting family in the area, and the fact that her place is pet friendly makes it even more convenient for us! 10,000% recommend stay at one of Rachel’s places of given the opportunity!!! My wife and I thought about the myriad of lake and Mountain View places we could rent in the Ft. Payne/Mentobe area, but ran across The Lofts in our search. The minute we saw the interior and exterior photos and saw the primo downtown location, we were sold. As an architect married to a design and antique loving woman, we saw a fun alternative to the usual places to stay. We were NOT disappointed. The place is decorated to a “T” and located in an historic building within walking distance of some really nice shops and restaurants. It’s located a short drive to Cloudland State Park and innumerable other natural areas as well. As I said, the online photos of this place don’t do it justice. Our hosts were helpful and on the ball. Easy check in and check out. All the information we needed was provided. We spent part of a day at Orbix Hot Glass to learn glass blowing techniques and would like to go again. We know where we’ll be staying!

2nd Christmas in a row staying here. We love the town and beautiful Christmas decorations around town. Everything is walking distance and the kids love the playground just minutes away.

Wonderful stay and would definitely go back. It was secluded but not too far off the beaten path. My husband loved the catch and release pond. He caught several fish and I caught one too! The house was beautiful as was the property. It rained when we first got there and it was beautiful sitting on the couch watching the rain fall on the pond, through the big windows. The shower with the rainfall shower head was amazing. Amber was always quick to reply through the whole process. The power went off while we were there and we reached out about the breaker box, she told us what to do and even offered to come. We were able to solve the problem through the chat. We went for relaxation and that’s exactly what we got. A beautiful, secluded home and setting. We hope to go back again.

This lake house was such a great find. It’s absolutely beautiful and so so very peaceful. My family and I will for certain be back here. The host was always friendly and very helpful. The neighbors are excellent and so so kind. The neighborhood here is very peaceful. Thank y’all for sharing your home with us. Lord willing we will be back early fall.

Beautiful home! Perfect for a weekend with family and close friends. We loved that the home was walkable to the top of Desoto Falls but also only a short hike to the bottom view via trail. The loft and top rooms were magical and absolutely perfect for our tween kids and us parents loved the screened porch and outdoor firepit. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us. We also appreciated how clean it was and the basket of welcome snacks. Five stars!

A nice and clean facility. There was ample room for our party of 11. This was our second rental year at the Blue Heron Retreat. For the rental cost, the ample space, and the cooperation from our host, Linda, it’s the best to fit our fishing needs for the week. We are already scheduling for our third year in a row. Our group has come to the area for over 20 years. This has been our most favorable for cost and meeting our week long needs.

This was my third time starting here. I really enjoy this place. The house is clean and comfortable. The dock is in great shape. If you are planning a fishing trip to Lake Guntersville this is the spot.

This was our second stay at this house! We absolutely love this home. The water and the scenery are beautiful. The late night fire in the fire pit was amazing. Jeremy is amazing to rent from. Very flexible and always responsive! I wish I could give it greater than 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
