Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cabin was built in the 1950's for housing dairy workers. It sits on 11 acres. This area is an old dairy farm. Lots of family history here going all the way back to WWII. 1 bedroom with queen size bed, small laundry room, queen size fold out couch, pots and pan, dishes, microwave, stove and refrigerator with ice maker. Super fast high speed internet. Roku tv's. Peaceful front porch with rocking chairs and very tranquil view.

A big room was added to the store portion, and is now a very unique meeting hall that features live music on occasion. Not part of the inn rental, but this space can be rented as well. This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Come and see why this is OUR happy place, and it could quickly become your happy place.

Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.
