Explore Ancient West Cornwall From a Charming Apartment

Awaken in a bright, cheerful space with views of a quaint village from first floor windows. A cottage-like feel is created by painted wood panelling and traditional furnishings designed for comfort. Have breakfast at table nestled under a skylight. Situated in a peaceful Cornish village, Little Anvil occupies a central position (both the north and south coast are within easy reach) ideal for exploring beautiful West Cornwall. A newly converted first-floor apartment which forms part of the owners 18th century cottage, one of the oldest in the village. With its own private entrance, the apartment is full of character, with luxurious touches and modern appliances - a welcoming and comfortable place to return to after your day out. In addition to this we are next door to the village pub, where you can relax with a drink in the beer garden, have a meal or chat with locals. The pub also has a small shop for essential supplies. The open plan living/kitchen area is well equipped with a large flat screen, Smart TV for relaxing in the evening, plus a Bluetooth speaker for your music and free wi-fi. If you like to cook the kitchen/dining area facilities include an induction hob, full size oven, large fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is also a washer-dryer should you need it, and heating for the colder months. The bedroom is decorated in a relaxing French style with a king-size bed, luxurious linen, and an en-suite shower room. If you are bringing your dog with you there is an enclosed outdoor courtyard area for convenience, which also has a covered storage area for bicycles/kayak. The nearest town is the historic market town of Helston (4 miles), famous for its Spring celebration - Flora Day. The thriving and pretty coastal town of Falmouth is a short drive (for visitors to the University campus, it is only a 10min drive) and the beautiful port of Porthleven with its many fine restaurants is also within a 15-20minute drive. Nearby is the stunning coastline of The Lizard Peninsula, or you could travel towards the evocative and mysterious landscape of West Penwith, stopping to visit St Michaels Mount on your way to unforgettable St Ives and beyond. West Cornwall has so many stunning places to visit, that we hope you will want to return time and again. Sole and private access to all areas of apartment with own private entrance and key for coming and going! The apartment also has an enclosed courtyard area with storage for bikes if required. The apartment is in the village of Porkellis, close to art and culture, restaurants, a beach, and family-friendly activities. West Cornwall is known for its heathland, golden sand, artists' colonies, ancient stone circles, and Iron Age villages. We are in a rural location, so a car is highly recommended. However there is a bus stop just outside the apartment, but village buses are mysterious infrequent animals. The nearest town is Helston, approx 4 miles, and the nearest train station, Redruth is 8 miles. The A30, which is the main road connecting Cornwall with the rest of the UK is approx 10 miles. Nearest ferry port is Plymouth (50 miles) and the nearest Airport is Newquay (31 miles). The nearest international airport is Bristol (166 miles) The apartment has its own entrance and courtyard and is adjacent to the main house which is occupied by the owners.

Dolphins near beaches and town

A modern apartment with a large garden, located within a ten minute walk of Swanpool Beach. The beach has a range of water based activities and good food is available there. The coastal path and Swanpool Lake, a site of Special Scientific Interest is easily accessible. Swanpool Nature Reserve is next to the lane to Dolphins. Falmouth town centre with it's range of individual shops, galleries, restaurants and bars is a twenty minute walk away or if you prefer a short car, bus or taxi ride away.

Tremayne End: private flat near the Helford River

A chic one bedroom apartment with wonderfully large south facing sun terrace overlooking the glorious gardens of Tremayne House. It has a private entrance, sitting/dining room with separate kitchen and bedroom with en suite shower room. Wake up to the bird's singing! It is perfectly placed as a base for exploring the local area and is near the beautiful and peaceful Helford River. There are cosy village pubs and plenty of countryside walks to enjoy such as Tremayne Quay and Frenchman's Creek.

Set in the heart of Falmouth, 'the inlet' is a spacious self-catering apartment for 2 persons on the ground floor of my Victorian town house, offering harbour views over the historic sailing port of Falmouth. With its location & views it makes a great escape and is equipped for guests seeking a stylish getaway. Free on-road parking which isn't guarranteed directly outside the premises. As a listed property it’s quirks make it unable to store bikes/wheelchairs owing to fire regulation access.

Bream Loft is the first floor of a spacious (60sqm) recently converted barn, with lounge/dining/kitchen, separate WC, large bedroom with huge luxurious walk in shower. There is a woodburner, juliette balcony overlooking trees and beyond, distant sea view from the kitchen. Guests have use of the 2 acre garden and gas BBQ. Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches, and the picturesque Harbour, with its array of bars, restaurants, shops and galleries are all just a stroll away.

No 2 Tom's Yard is a self contained studio/Flat in a peaceful location, 20 minutes walk from the town Centre and beaches. Perfect for couples. It is independent (only for you), with a king-size bed, a sofa bed, a travel cot, en suite shower, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, twin hob, microwave and wifi. Ideally situated to explore both the golden beaches and the surrounding area. We have a studio nearby and can offer screenprinting as an extra activity to your holiday.

Lower Deck- Spacious Apartment, Central Location

Situated in a fabulous central level location and on the route of the south west coast path you will be ensured a comfortable stay in the Lower Deck; a large self-contained basement apartment within a historical Grade II listed property. The Maritime Museum and the bustling town with its numerous shops bars and restaurants and many festivals are a 5 minute walk away. The beaches are a mere 10 minutes in the other direction. Our Courtyard Apartment is a comfortable, quiet, first floor flat with garden & country views. Light and spacious, situated in the country near Mylor, it is perfect for exploring Cornwall. We are walking distance from Mylor Bridge & Pandora Inn, close to Mylor Sailing Club, within 10 mins from the University Campus at Penryn and 15 mins from Falmouth. We don't accept pets in this apartment but we do in our other accommodation.
