The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

The Bakery - Single-storey characterful cottage

The Bakery is a four star, converted, characterful, stone-built barn surrounded by countryside in a lovely rural setting. Situated between Aberystwyth and the beautiful harbour town of Aberaeron with its colourful Georgian houses. The nearest village of Llanrhystud offers a post office and shop, a pub and petrol station with small supermarket. The property offers excellent wifi. The Dairy Shed is a self-contained converted barn with a wildflower roof. An 8 minute drive to the harbour town of Aberaeron, it is the perfect base to explore the stunning Cardigan Bay coastline. On your doorstep is plenty to see and do- the newly refurbished Ty Glyn hotel, bar and restaurant is a 10 minute walk away. Equally inviting is firing up the wood burner or sitting out with the fire pit on your own private deck to enjoy the uninterrupted views of the surrounding Aeron Valley.

The Stowaway is located on the cliff in the beautiful fishing village of New Quay, right on the coastal path. Along with the spectacular sea views guests can enjoy relaxing on their private balcony whilst watching the dolphins play. Why not fire up the bbq provided for al fresco dining! Countryside cabin - 'Hud y Machlud'. You'll be staying in one of our two self built cabins in the heart of the countryside with hot tub. We are close to many of the areas best attractions including the Ceredigion coastal path, numerous beaches, Fantasy Farm, the award winnings harbour town of Aberaeron, University town of Lampeter and the beautiful Aberystywth. We are very central within the county of Ceredigion.

Welcome to our lovely character filled cottage ‘Y Bwthyn’ situated between New Quay and Aberaeron. It provides an ideal base to explore beautiful Cardigan Bay and the Ceredigion beaches. We’re less than a mile from Cei Bach and Traeth Gwyn beaches and half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path so it truly is a walker’s paradise. You can even walk along the beach to New Quay at low tide.

As well as many guests visiting the likes of the elan valley, devils bridge and may other walking spots.
