Staying here, you feel the character and history facing the 1834 Presbyterian Church. The 2nd floor apartment has a beautiful balcony, full kitchen, laundry, two claw foot bathrooms, one with a shower fixture, two King bedrooms, a sitting room with mini fridge and Keurig, and a play/art studio/ 3rd guest room.

This basement apartment is on the Pell City side of the lake close to the dam. It has a huge porch overlooking the lake with outdoor table to enjoy dinner or coffee while watching sail boats or heron fly around. It's close to the Birmingham Sail Club and only 15 minutes to a supermarket. This historic building originally built in 1907 was first occupied as the First National Bank in 1909. In 2024 it was renovated to offer a unique experience for our guests. Our building was built in 1930. The apartment was originally a boarding house that sat above a retail store. While it has been fully remodeled, the exposed brick walls, wood floors, transom doors, and much of the trim are original to the building, retaining its ninety year old charm. The sitting area and the front bedroom each have a door that opens onto the balcony that over looks the downtown entertainment district. The areas best shops, boutiques, and restaurants are on the same block!
