Big R's Retreat Secluded and located in Nature

Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Spend a few days in the beautiful countryside. A private entrance to the lower level of home (completely separate from our home) that includes a central room, 2 bedrooms with kitchenette, & 1 lg bath. WiFi >500 Mbps speed. Smart 60" TV, Bluetooth Airplay/stream compatible. Parking on sight. Great location 5 min from beautiful downtown Spring Green. Close to APT, Taliesin/Frank Lloyd Wrights Home/School, House on the Rock, WI River, Gov. Dodge State Park and 1/2 hr to Devils Lake State Park.

All Season fun! A place to get out in the fresh air, sit by the campfire, & gaze at the stars. Fish the many TROUT streams nearby. Hike, bike, and horseback trails at Ash Creek Forest. WI River-4 miles away. Wild Hills Winery - right next door! Richland Center offers a Drive-in, Pine River Trails & Kayaking, beautiful parks, aquatic center, 18 hole disc golf course, books, coffee shop. Eagle Cave is a fun,brief, tour -10 miles away. *NOTE: NO PETS, NO SMOKING! **WE ARE 1 Hour from the DELLS!

River Valley Retreat

Enjoy your stay in the Spring Green Area! This private apartment in the lower level of our home is located on the edge of town - close to everything you're here to see! This space provides a home-like feel while you tour the area. Offering a one bedroom (queen bed) with the ability to sleep up to 4 more people (2 on sectional sofa and 2 on air mattress), plus a loaded kitchenette (no stove), dining area, bathroom, extra space for gaming (includes a free arcade and foosball) and private patio.

Driftless Region Cabin/ Stream and Sauna

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Cool quiet country cabin on boulders and 120 acres

Funky, tidy 23 year old country cabin on 120 acres of farmland & woods in a private, quiet rural setting. It's cozy, 950 sq ft, built with stone and wood. Open concept with a two story fireplace, porch fireplace, firepit, and open loft for sleeping (1 bed), with spiral stairs, lots of windows, walnut floors and trim, oak beams and pine kitchen tops. Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

One bedroom suite within walking distance of downtown, beautiful Spring Green, WI. Enjoy small town living at it's best. Free Wi-fi and Chromecast TV. A/C, kitchen, & full bath. Easy parking, & access to parks, village pool, & many shops, restaurants & bars. A few miles from APT, Taliesin, House on The Rock & Gov Dodge. Pets <50 lbs welcome, they are not allowed on ANY furniture, if evidence is found of such, you’ll be charged for replacement of damaged property. $25/animal fee per visit.

The Sweet Suite

The Sweet Suite is an upper duplex unit. We are located in the middle of the Driftless Area known for its scenic beauty and charm. A comfortable country atmosphere ideal for relaxation. We welcome traveling nurses! Feel free to inquire about a longer stay. The distance is: 8 miles to Richland Hospital in Richland Center 19 miles to Muscoda Health Center in Muscoda 24 miles to Gundersen St Joseph's Hospital in Hillsboro The location is also ideal for hunters and other sports enthusiasts.

The Driftless Escape! Modern, large cabin/57 acres

Nested in between 2 valleys is this abundant log cabin next to a stream. WI river: fishing, tubing, canoeing, water sports 10 min away. Nearby: biking, trout fishing, hiking, cross country skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, wine tasting tours, historic towns and sights. Note some photos are of the surrounding area/opportunities. The 2150 square foot home boasts a fireplace enhanced by a 2 story rock faced chimney, an expansive wrap-around porch, a master suite, and a generous great room.
