Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Adventure on foot for gorgeous walks or cycle along the great network of cycle paths. Day drives to Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury, and surrounds are within easy reach. For those commuters who need access to Bristol International Airport, we are a stone's throw away (by bus or Uber).

Barken Studio is a self contained converted stable in Bower Ashton (BS3) on the edge of Bristol. The location is perfect for exploring Bristol as we are in easy walking/bus distance from the Harbour, Ashton Court Estate, Clifton Suspension Bridge, Ashton Gate Stadium as well as many attractions. The Studio is a new conversion offering parking and a very light and airy space with a king size bed, full kitchen and stunning shower room. We can take an extra guest/child on a guest bed if required.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Cosy Shepherd’s Hut only a 15 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station and the airport flyer bus stop. Cute kitchen & bathroom, underfloor heating & wood burner. A little haven of peace in a bustling urban setting. The Bus stop at the end of the road takes you into the city centre. N.B. The hut is situated in our garden, facing our family home and there is limited outside space. The bed folds into the wall to reveal a lovely table/seating area - see below for more information about this.

'Home from home' is how I like guests to feel whilst staying at this welcoming, clean and spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. It's a lovely, light filled property, tastefully decorated with quality furniture, art and comfortable beds, and offers a patio, garden and off street parking in a village, 15 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes the City Centre. Failand has a popular pub and grocery store/cafe and is a great place to enjoy glorious countryside yet with close proximity to Bristol.

The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

Welcome to this delightful period cottage in the picturesque village of Chew Maga. This two-bedroom home combines timeless charm with modern comforts. Situated in the heart of Chew Magna, the cottage is just a short 5 minute stroll from the village’s extensive amenities. The cottage is surrounded by scenic walking trails and a short walk to Chew Valley lake and close to the Mendip Hills. Bristol airport is 10 minutes away, Bath 10 miles away and Bristol 6 miles away.

Fairywells is a self-contained barn conversion. It is attached to our stable block across the stable yard from our farmhouse. The property is newly converted. It is located in beautiful rural Somerset, yet ideal for central Bristol (15 minute drive) and Bristol Airport (less than 10 minute drive). There are lovely local walks straight from the property, with a footpath leading down to the pretty village of Barrow Gurney which has a pub and shop.
