Wood floors throughout, comfortable leather furniture, king bed in master, 2 twin beds in 2nd bedroom, wifi, 55” LED TV, full size washer/dryer, stove, microwave, kitchen table w/ 6 chairs, tub/shower, full size fridge, propane grill, lawn chairs. Shampoo, soap, coffee provided. Additional twin bed available on porch (spring / summer / fall - AC on porch. Not ideal during cold weather).

School House Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Quiet and remote. You will see plenty of wildlife and the stars at night, and listen to the coyotes howl. Located 3 miles southwest of Johnstown, NE. This was once a one room grade school that has been converted into a cozy cabin for your enjoyment. No tv, no Wi-Fi, cell service is available. The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

Halsey National Forest is just a few minutes away and many great Refuge lakes are in the area between Thedford and Valentine. Beautiful views of the sandhills and Middle Loup river going thru the property, with a small catch & release fishing pond on property. Little House on the Prairie

The Little House on the Prairie is nestled in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills. We are a mere ten minutes from the Calamus River and Calamus Lake (west end) which offers tanking, tubing, boating, and fishing. This is a birders paradise! Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution. Nature awaits!

Make passing through small-town Nebraska more comfortable than you ever imagined! This listing is for the first level of this historical home which includes one bedroom, one bathroom, washer and dryer, living area, kitchen and dining area. This space can be used for just the comfort of a nice bed and a place to shower or for the comfort of the whole family with plenty of children’s toys, pack and play, high chair etc.

Home Away From Home

Be my guest while I am away and forget your worries in this home with rustic charm and homey feel with the property having only 2 neighbors on either side located on a quiet street. Across the street on the front side offers a city park and the back has no neighbors/ alley with a big pasture perfect for watching sunsets. On the patio is a Traeger grill and firepit.

Creekside Calamus West Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Tucked in the Sandhills close to Calamus Reservoir you will find your home away from home. Enjoy the peaceful scenery with friends and family where you can enjoy the spacious cabin and relax on the oversized patio. Minimum age to rent our cabins is 28 years old. Must provide a photo ID of proof of age.

Fishing, hunting, canoeing the Niobrara River, golfing at the Prairie Club, star gazing or just absorbing the atmosphere at this working cattle ranch are all great options if you stay here.

The Borg BNB is a 2 bedrooms/1bath allowing to sleep up to 8 guests with a sleeper sofa. A walk in shower, full kitchen, and laundry room are highlights of the home but the open concept makes this space ideal to gather around the table and enjoy everyone’s company.
