Cowpasture River front cottage on a 350 acre farm.

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.

Rendezvous at Rhonda's View!! Enjoy your morning coffee and evening beverage while sitting on the deck or screened-in porch overlooking the Cowpasture River. It is truly a special place of serenity. Geese, heron, and an occasional eagle fly along the river valley. The Cowpasture is one of America's most pristine rivers. **Please make sure to read "Other Details to Note" for notes and rules regarding the water filtration system and no smoking policy.

It sits alone on a 10 acre hilltop with sweeping views of the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Absolutely magnificent, totally private, and only one mile from town. You can have the best of both worlds: get away from it all, relax on the covered porch with fabulous views overlooking Lexington, VMI and W&L, yet be downtown to an event in 10 minutes.

Edifice Rex, a 300 square foot studio apartment, is only one mile and less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 yet it offers a very bucolic, peaceful setting. Countless cultural, historical and recreational opportunities exist within a 30 mile radius. The James River and Appalachian Trail are but minutes away.
