We had the most magical time at the eco cabin, it was absolutely beautiful and Verity went out of her way to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. We will absolutely be coming back again - highly recommend!

First time staying in one of Tim and Judy's properties. The Bothy is exactly what we wanted. Rustic, cozy, imagine Hagrids shack (Harry Potter) and you wouldn't be far off. Nice, large wood burning stove, shower was great especially after a long walk. Some board games to choose from, we played Scrabble. We were greeted by their 2 lovely dogs Millie and Fergus whenever they were about. The chickens roam free and Jethro the goose is on guard. It is cut off from civilization with no phone signal or people for miles. Great scenery as soon as you open the door of the bothy onto Munro's and fields. We loved it. Tim was always about if needed. Very friendly, welcoming and you can tell he loves doing what he does. Had a lovely few days away for my birthday.

Super logement cocooning. Lit et canapé très confortables. Une belle vue sur les montagnes et le lac. Centre-ville à proximité. Paisible, très propre et facile d'accès. Place de parking avec le logement : un vrai plus (ps. il faudra repeindre le marquage au sol car peu visible).

Excellent location. Beautiful little cottage studio outfitted with everything you might need. Check in was very easy and Amanda was very responsive. Would certainly stay here again.

lovely quiet cabin, lots of walls and wildlife to be seen. Great for a peaceful break. Cabin had everything you could think of and easy location to Dalry shops 5 min drive away.

cottage was absolutely perfect for a relaxing break. it was absolutely silent, with beautiful surroundings and the cottage had everything we needed and that was listed. Mary and Andy were so friendly and we would 100% stay again

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!

We enjoyed a peaceful three night break in the cabin. We were only 30 miles from home but it felt much further. We settled in really quickly to the cabin, which is clean, cosy and well equipped. The high pitched ceilings make it feel more airy than most. The location is perfect, being situated close to the main north/south road through the Borders. Jebburgh has an abundance of nature walks both long and short, with one of the routes passes very nearby (if that's your thing then grab the local walks leaflet from various shops in town). Giles communication was friendly and prompt. Thanks.

We had a lovely weekend away here. It was extremely peaceful with a great view of the cows and babies in the field. The hut had everything we needed and the fresh milk and biscuits were a lovely touch! We'd definitely stay again, thank you Claire.

We had an absolutely lovely time at the Otters Holt where we stayed for 1 night. The host was extremely helpful and knowing I did this to surprise my fiance for his birthday, Alasdair allowed me to delivery balloons to the location prior to our stay and even set it up in our wee pod for our arrival - such a beautiful and thoughtful touch and meant a lot so thanks again for this! The location was perfect and as we’d sit in the hot tub, deer would pass from across the field and the sound of the pond and ducks was so calming - exactly what we needed! We will be back!! Thanks so much for a fabulous stay!!💕💕

this was such a lovely stay, this place feels like home even though we’ve never been! Happened to come around lambing season so that was a cute surprise from the neighbouring property. Access to lake, stunning home, exactly as depicted. Great value for money and the eggs/juice/milk were much appreciated! Feels like everything was thought of and amenities were plentiful. This location is so cozy and we loved the pitter pat of the rain on the tin roof in the evenings. Would absolutely stay again.

Our weekend visiting the Lookout has been one to remember for all the right reasons. We were met with a idyllic cabin in beautiful surroundings. It offers everything you may need for a getaway in terms of amenities and comfort, but it offers so much more in the way of providing memories and giving a soul healing experience. It gives a remote breakaway, with the benefits of local sightseeing opportunities. If you do happen to visit the Lookout, makesure you step outside at night to look up! You will not be sorry. We've seen night sky's in many parts of the world but the stars at the cabin are literally out of this world. Our host Georgie was a pleasure and delight to talk with. One of the best Airb&b hosts and stays we've had. We look forward to scheduling another trip to the Lookout again. Our main reason for visiting was to visit the inner farne, which is a must if your in the area. We got some amazing photos along with our experience. Bets Samantha & Mark 😊

We had a lovely stay at Nicky and Eric’s pod – it was cosy, clean, and nicely furnished with everything you need for a few days in the Scottish countryside. The space was thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Nicky and Eric were friendly and keen to offer recommendations about things to do in the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway!

Jo’s place is brilliant. A beautiful, peaceful getaway in a picturesque part of the world. The pod had everything we could possibly need and it was awesome to have use of the summer house in such beautiful weather. Jo is a tremendous host and is a thoroughly friendly, helpful and kind soul with stories aplenty. She always made us chuckle in our interactions and her faithful doggie companions Murphy and Mila were gorgeous too. We’ll definitely be booking again if we return to Dumfries and Galloway!

We had an amazing time at Sue and Henk’s cabin! The cabin is right on the Loch (which my partner used for wild swimming) with beautiful views. The cabin itself was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfy bed and lovely hot shower which was needed after a rainy walk! It is a short drive from Callander, which is a lovely town with pubs, cafes and shops.

If you are a nature lover looking for a very quiet and private spot with breathtaking views and nature on your doorstep then look no further. With running hot water and gas powered fridge and hob the modern coms are not short too. Kite, swans, geese and other birds regular flying over and sheep with lambs trotting about if you visit in spring. The loch is a short walk away if you are a fan of cold water swimming. There is lots to do in the area 30-45 mins drive too, whatever the weather and for families too. The dark skies at night are special and if you fancy some stargazing the spot is priceless. Debbie is a great host, responsive, helpful and pragmatic. We will be back as soon as we get a chance! Pure dead brilliant!

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We had a great relaxing break. Pod was beautifully decorated and was as pictured in the photographs. The fire pit and marshmallows were a lovely touch and the hot tub was great. We cant wait to come back again soon.

The instructions were ideal. We found the place with ease. Amazing little place. Very clean. Instructions for everything. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely touches of hot Chocolate and shower gel. I thought the price was ideal. I really hope I get the chance to go back x

Enjoyed our week, peaceful place close to a few other builders but is definitely a quiet place to relax, highly recommend , bed is super cosey.

The Shepards Hut is situated in a beautiful surrounding with the most fantastic view out which was perfect for morning coffee and breakfast. You're introduced to a nice warm welcome and everything was clearly labelled out. The information booklet was very helpful and provided all the information needed. The scrapbook of the building of the hut was excellent and we really enjoyed looking at the process of the creation of this wonderful space. The size of the hut was bigger and more spacious than I thought it would be and at 6'3 I didn't struggle for head height. Vivian provided a number of different complimentary food items from Kitkats to tea & coffee which was very generous. The village of Lowick has everything you need with the village shop and two local pubs being the highlight as well as plenty of lovely walks to do. I went running on a couple of the mornings down the country roads. My wife and I would definitely return and stay again . Thank you Vivian for a wonderful stay.
