The Old Goat Shed

The Old Goat Shed is exactly as the title says , situated on our small 30 acre goat farm , from where my wife produces goat milk soap and hand made candles. Situated 10 kilometres from Donegal Town looking down onto Donegal Bay and across to Sligo. The area is ideal for walking, cycling or as a base to discover the numerous sites of outstanding beauty County Donegal has on offer as well as our County town 10 minutes away , or if you want to chill out and relax with the fire on that’s no bother

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Nestled close to Lough Eske and the Bluestack Mountains, it is an ideal base for hiking, fishing and hill walks. Murvagh Golf Course and Rossnowlagh beach are only a 15 minute drive away. Located near Harvey's Point Hotel and Lough Eske Castle, this cottage is ideal for wedding guests.

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

The historic Donegal Town Centre is only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk. We have Lidl Supermarket, Supermacs and Papa Johns Pizza less than a 1 minute drive or 3 minute walk. The Town has everything that visitors require i.e. Restaurants, Entertainment, walks & tours of surrounding areas. A good base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Check in time is 4pm to 7pm. Check out time is 11am. WE WOULD APPRECIATE AN ESTIMATE TIME OF ARRIVAL. Let us know on the day you arrive.

Lough View House

1 night may be available upon request with a different price plan. Loughview House is a modern home a ten minute drive from Donegal Town. It is situated in a quiet scenic area with breathtaking views of Lough Eske and Bluestack Mountains. The ground floor has two large sitting rooms,a well equiped kitchen with separate dining area,utility room and large hall. Upstairs has four large bedrooms,one of which has an ensuite. There is plenty of parking space and a large garden.

Restored Sheep Farmer's Cottage -Wild Atlantic Way

This tastefully restored formed Sheep Farmer's cottage is ideal base for your visit to Donegal. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way just outside the village of Kilcar with Sleive League to the West and Killybegs and Donegal town to the south. This is an ideal place to settle into for a night or two and return to each evening after visiting the beautiful Donegal countryside. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.
