Really enjoyed our SECOND stay at this quaint home. We returned from 5 months ago because of the kindness and hosting skills of Linda. She is a joy and we went shopping at her floral store walking distance from her home. She is thoughtful, considerate in all areas of hospitality. She is a guests favorite for this reason. We will return as a regular. I recommend a stay here to visit New Orleans or to get away from it all and enjoy local Louisiana cuisine. Kindest regards, Burt Huete

Completely met our needs we did not want to be in the thick of things we wanted to go visit plantations and do some swamp tours. We did drive about 30 minutes to see some things on one day drive into New Orleans at about an hour but I would rather drive 30 miles at 30 minutes in no traffic then 5 miles at 30 minutes in traffic. This location suited our needs..

Karen was an amazing host. She responded to our needs very fast and was a pleasure. The house was very nice and comfortable and in a great place to walk to restaurants and the trolly.

We absolutely love Karen’s Covington Cottage! We have made it our home away from home several times, and each stay has been wonderful. This was the first time that we brought one of our grown sons along and he loved the cottage too. Thanks for your amazing hospitality, Karen!

Rik was an awesome host, very easy and quick responses, easy check in, and the place was comfy and clean. This place is very close to all new Orleans has to offer, we took quick Uber rides. Street parking in front of house with no issues. we will definitely be back! Thank you!

This is our second time staying at this home. We feel at home, safe, and at peace here. It is a quiet neighborhood and near the city park where we visit often for the gardens, special events, and walking some of the trails. If you want a more secluded space that is convenient to leave when visiting New Orleans and the surrounding areas, this is for you. Many sidewalks, local restaurants, grocery stores, the best ice cream store ever, etc. We prefer to cook more than go out to eat, so the whole kitchen suits our needs. Karis is really great and makes people feel welcome.

We absolutely loved staying at Marcelin’s place! We knew there would be continental breakfast options but were blown away at what was actually there. We had plenty of space for our group of 7 and the space was beautiful. It’s about a mile walk to the St Charles Street Car and like 2 minute walk to 2 different bus stops. CVS and Walgreens are within 2 minutes walk as well.

Stayed at this beautiful home as a stopover between two other trips - I can't speak highly enough of the house, its location or Giuliano himself, who is incredibly helpful and communicative. The wifi also was wonderful, including for video calls. Easy 5/5 stars. Stay here!

Daniel thought abut all the little things that make a spot nice and cozy. We had everything that we needed for our stay. Hubby was really impressed with the nice selection of beer! I’ve never experienced a more responsive host. Daniel was like a Genie…. Even responding at hours that we least expected it. It was more than we expected and we were very appreciative and felt very fortunate. Thanks for a very nice spot and for being an amazing host Daniel!

Kathy was a great host! The place was clean and well designed. Loved the location, away from noise but close to restaurants and stores. I was here on a contract job and this was a perfect getaway!

Katies place was great! She was super responsive and flexible. There was always a place to park, and the place was nice and clean, everything you could want in an AirBNB.

Location! Location! Location! Tucked back in a quiet complex with easy walking access to/from all the LSU hot spots. With all the immenities & comforts, place feels like home. Host Casey responded immediately to any requests or concerns & was more than accommodating to our needs during our stay! We had a great stay in the guesthouse during our trip to New Orleans for Jazzfest. The location (just steps away from the park) was fantastic and parking always easy. We would definitely love to stay here again next year!

Such a charming gem right in the heart of downtown. Loved walking along the lake with a coffee from Stellar Beans, perusing darling shops, and sitting on the deck for lunch or dinner at Lagunas! The hardwood floors and original architecture were beautiful, very comfortable beds, and additional space to relax. I will definitely stay here again!!

This was a lovely home, very clean and host provided all the essentials for our stay. It was a bit different to find the unit so be sure to pay attention to the host’s directions. I had to call her back a few times because we got a bit lost. This was one of the most lovely and inviting places I have stayed at so far. It is very close to LSU if you are in town visiting students. The area is lovely!

We stopped at Ima’s place during our roadtrip. Ima is the most wonderful host, she was kind enough to accommodate our inconvenient arrival time and prepare the place with short notice. The studio is super spacious and has all the amenities you needed including full size fridge and washer/dryer. We’ll be definitely staying there again! Thank you Ima :)

From booking until checkout, everything was fantastic. It was a delight to stay in such a dialed in space.

All around 10/10! It was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and the charm and homely feeling of staying with a local family can’t be beat. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere but it was residential and close to local gems.

If you like Frenchman Street and The French Quarter, this is an ideal location! Very comfortable room. Our hosts provided loads of breakfast options. Lots of clean towels. More than met our expectations!

David and Sandra’s place was very enjoyable. It was authentic and also very comfortable.

While looking for a last minute weekend get away, I came across The Dove House. Upon booking the room, instantly I was messaged by Mrs. Bonnie. She was very accommodating with our check in time, and greeted us at the house upon our arrival. Mrs. Bonnie gave us a tour of the beautiful home while giving us its history and even offered us our choice of room in the house. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable with every amenity being covered. The following morning we were served a delicious home cooked breakfast. We also enjoyed a nice conversation with Mrs Bonnie where she made you feel more like family rather than just a guest. Although we were only able to stay one night, I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area. I highly recommended anyone staying in the area to give The Dove House a chance. You won’t regret your stay!

This place was perfect for our short stay to visit family. Description was accurate, but photos didn't do justice to the overall atmosphere Jolie has created. We felt right at home the moment we stepped inside. It was very easy to find, within walking distance of cute riverside businesses, and short driving distance to many north shore locations. We look forward to returning when we stay again in the area!

Second (or third) time staying at The cressy house - as always, Laura doesn’t miss a detail! Can’t wait to go back.
