Louisiane : chambres d'hôtel

We would stay here again. If I had to pick something negative to say it would be the door. You had to be very careful to shut the door all the way or it would pop back open. It happened to me once. Luckily the place and the general area felt safe so I didn’t worry about it, but I did double check the door after that.

Our favorite part was the bathroom, it was so luxurious! I’m not sure if it was just the time of year, but it was the end of January and there were gorgeous lights in the trees outside of our bay window and it really set the experience over the top. I’m a photographer and I booked this location for a session but took advantage of the opportunity to have a little getaway with my mom & baby once my client left. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch, taking a long soak in the claw foot tub, and I walked only 1 minute away to mama d’s pizza for take out. When we turned the tv on, we loved how it was already on a fireplace channel. Another small touch we appreciated were the Andy’s chocolate mints on the night stands. The host was very great at communicating and the neighborhood was wonderful! It’s so close to so many great locations that you can easily walk to. The book of recommendations was great! The next morning we drove out to Fontainebleau state park on the way home.

The Abita Springs Hotel is a beautiful place to stay. The area is peaceful and quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. The room looked exactly like the pictures. I would definitely recommend and absolutely stay again.

We were in town for the New Orleans Poetry Festival—(Check it out! Happens every year!) which just so happened to line up with French Quarter Fest. PERFECT spot for walking to French Quarter / the awesomeness of the neighborhood in general—legit a 6-7 minute walk to the local food co-op / arts zone / yoga / healthiness that is the New Orleans Healing Center. (I’d highly recommend checking it out!) Very clean :) Very quiet as well! Despite being in such close proximity to the busy-ness outside! I was impressed. Beautiful garden—with amazing spots to swing and chat and hang. Hosts were very accommodating/kind in terms of our schedule! Absolutely plan on staying again! Notes: Parking def a bit tricky. Might’ve been cuz we were coming in during Festival weekend? If you’re coming in at evening—be prepared to hunt for a spot. Also, the hot tub was not working the entire weekend 😞 We’re poets. We get that stuff breaks hah! Merci beaucoup—much gratitude to the hosts for sharing space ?

Great place

The area had a serene charm, with everything within walking distance. I loved the convenience of the electric kettle for making tea or coffee. The soft daybed became my cozy retreat after a day of exploring. I would definitely love to return.

This place was absolutely amazing. Hosts were great, and I had an amazing time Super Bowl week. Highly recommend!

This place is the PERFECT Mardi Gras spot. So easy to go back and forth during the parades, amazing pool and hot tub for recovery. In walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants.

Christian was a great host. The place was exactly as described. Located perfect walking distance to everything. You are 4 blocks from Bourbon. Key cards at hotel were not up to par. We were locked out 3 times, but was always taken care of and had nothing to do with Christian as a host.

Absolute GEM 2 blocks from French Quarter! Hot tub and pool are beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. Had trouble entering the first time with provided pin. We were let in by host and she said I must have misentered pin. (I didn't feel I had) but we left and came back and pin still didn't work a second time. They let us in and I asked her to step outside and watch it NOT work for us. I entered the 4 numbers and then the pound sign and she instantly said, "don't enter the pound sign". I showed her that her directions clearly say to enter the pound sign at front entrance and check mark at room, and she said that was wrong. So, that's why I gave one star for check in clarity. I'd love to have them provide the RIGHT pin instructions so I'm not called "wrong" for doing it as instructed. But other than that, everything worked great and we would stay again.

This was a long, fun weekend! We arrived late and they had clear after hour instructions for us. The room had everything we needed. We don’t need much. A clean bathroom, clean bedding. Perfect for us! The two ladies were most helpful with instructions and recommendations in the area for everything! If you don’t need much and just a nice, clean quiet place check out Rathbone! 👌🏽

Having access to the free shuttle was awesome Bed was very comfortable

Me and my family came in town for a wedding and this place was perfect we loved the fact that it was hotel style but we could still all be together but the best part is that each room had its own bathroom which made it super easy to get dressed whit a large group the pool area was so pretty and the club next door made it a blast we could literally walk next door to the events they were having and didn’t have to worry about driving to far after drinking location was also very close to the French Quarter

This is the perfect spot that is central to everywhere you could want to go. We rode the trolley which has a stop right outside the door. You have to pay to valet your vehicle which I highly recommend as parking is extremely limited. The place was clean and had everything we needed.

Place was great ! Very updated and close to everything. We were extremely impressed by the rooms. Everyone had their own suite which includes a private bathroom.

The Firehouse in Vivian is such a beautiful space. The accommodations are modern and beautiful, focusing on the beautiful history of the firehouse. The highlights are the fireplaces in the master bedroom and living room and the absolutely wonderful shower, offering a rain shower and side jets. We will definitely be back if we come to Vivian in the future. Thank you for a memorable experience!

I cannot recommend this BNB enough! Huffman Manor was gorgeous, historic, and had the friendliest inn-keepers anywhere. I also have to recommend any of the breakfasts. They were perfection on a plate. I felt like a Princess all weekend and cannot thank everyone for being so kind, caring, and accommodating all weekend!

This place was great! A beautiful apartment on a fantastic property. The pool and courtyard are so lovely and it was a reasonable walk to great restaurants and the french quarter. Mike was so responsive to every question and the recommendations for local restaurants and tours were fantastic! I will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay. Great location. Beautiful place. Hated the cardboard on our windows and the room smelled like mildew, guessing that might just be due to location but my allergies went awfully crazy. Hosts was wonderful helpful and friendly.

The Dew Drop is an excellent off the beaten path gem! It was just as described and more. Our first time to NOLA and Wednesday open mic night delivered! There was amazing local artists belting it out. What a treat to hear great music and then walk upstairs to our room with a very comfortable king bed and black out shades!

Sehr sauberes und schönes Motel. Hatten dort 3 Zimmer und alles lief problemlos. Der Pool und der Preis waren auch sehr gut.
