I'd highly recommend Eleanor's place for those looking for great accomodation in a great location. It went beyond my expectations and she was a great host. It's been added to the list of places i'd return too!

Fantastic 3 day stay for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. The cottage was perfect and we chose it specially so we could get to Edinburgb and Glasgow during our stay. Would definitely book again. Great value for money.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

Great location, helpful and responsive host. Comfortable and cosy cottage, with all the bits and pieces needed.

Property was ideally located for quietness. Garden was safe and secure for the dogs. Everything we needed was provided and any queries were answered quickly.

We had a wonderful time at Kylie’s cottage. The place was very clean and tidy. She was very helpful and responsive, gave us some advice where to go and what to see in the area. We totally coming back and recommend to friends and family

We rented Ladywell Lodge with the Doocot for a large family holiday. Though the cottage is up in the hills, it was very quick to get to major routes. The lodge was perfect for the two couples who stayed there. It is tucked away in its own large outdoor space with woods and hill walks just moments away. It was comfortable and clean with everything as described. The kitchen was well laid out and the sitting room really cosy. The hosts were great too - Sandra is really responsive and we found the flexible check in really good. It was perfect for our family and being able to pair renting this with the Doocot meant we had a brilliant space for lots of people to stay. My husband and I would love to go back and would happily rent the lodge again as it was so comfortable in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Had a great stay here, everything was here that I needed, my dogs were also very well catered for. I had to change the plans a couple of times and Anne was very responsive and very helpful. Would 100% recommend this little apartment, it was small but perfectly formed with a quaint little courtyard. Love it.

Lovely stay in Tayport. Cottage was so central, few mins walk to the harbour, lovely cafe just up the road and nice walks nearby which was great for us and the dog. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Highlight was the garden which has lots of different areas, we were lucky to have good weather and loved sitting out in the sunshine.

Laura’s place was wonderful. She was also an accommodating host, which we really appreciated. The place was beautiful and completely spotless. We really recommend ❤️

Beautiful relaxing cottage in a very peaceful and convenient part of Scotland. Easy drive from the airport if you have satnav/ GPS. The furnishings and especially the bedding was of top quality, much better than you would expect in a rental unit. Very friendly, knowledgeable welcoming and responsive hosts. Beautiful walk through their farmland from the cottage, Libby came over to welcome us and ensure all was well. She brought two very friendly sheep dogs that work with them on the farm.

We visited the cottage for a long weekend as we love the Borders. From first communication with Lowry I knew we would not be disappointed. The cottage was so lovely, peaceful and beautifully furnished. It was not like a holiday cottage at all it was definitely like a home. The garden was amazing and our dogs absolutely loved it. The welcome pack was extremely generous and thoughtful and along with other luxurious touches like bathrobes it did make the visit one that stood out. The pub across the road was really nice and it was a pleasant surprise just how lovely it was when we walked in. My partner said several times he could live in the cottage and wondered if they would sell it to us! We would love to return. Thank you x

We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

We stayed over the Christmas period with our daughter who works in the local area. Cottage was beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. The cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable. The downstairs had underfloor heating and a log fire which we didn't use as the weather was very mild. There is plenty to do in the area and lots of restaurants that are worth visiting however we chose to eat in most days as just wanted to spend family time together. Katie left some goodies for us when we arrived which was much appreciated as we had had an 8 hour trip. All in all we have a lovely time and would highly recommend

Wunderbares Haus an idyllischer Lage. Absolute Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Top ausgestattete Küche und schöne Zimmer mit Aussicht in die grüne Natur und die Schafherden. Fasane und Hasen auf den Feldern-für uns ein Highlight! Wir waren mit 2 Kindern dort und würden sofort wieder hier übernachten- nächstes mal länger! Cute place, small but perfect for a few days away. Everything has been cleverly thought of to fit a tiny space. It’s a great location too but you do need to book if you want to eat at the pub as it is very busy!

Duncan was such a kind and friendly host, really active in communicating with us, and gave us loads of insight and suggestions for the area and our stay. It was lovely chatting with him. The views around are lovely and the property was well stocked, clean, and easy to find. We would definitely come back agaih!

We absolutely loved our stay at the stables house! The house itself was lovely. Very cozy and clean. Big rooms, big garden and a very nice conservatory where we sat a lot. We also loved the grounds. Very well kept, beautiful walled garden and lots of animals. Would definitely recommend! Hosts have lots of recommended for the area. We spent most of our time in Edinburgh.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle this cottage is definitely for you. A nice relaxing space with an enclosed private garden where you can sit with your hound and watch the birds. Rupert was a superb host, we can highly recommend the home made jam and bread!

Lovely cottage and surroundings. Homemade bread on arrival was a nice touch. Read in earlier reviews about deer on the lawn. It's true! Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Fairygreen Cottage was exactly what we needed. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Our boys had so much fun. Alice was very helpful. We would love to stay here again!
