The Joy Suite is a single room with an unattached, private bath. It has a queen bed. A twin air mattress can also be provided. It features large windows with shutters & a wrap-around ceiling shelf. In the morning, we serve a homemade country breakfast. We are conveniently located off Route 23, between Ann Arbor and Toledo. Second floor of a historic home built in the 1800’s. Above a quaint Tea Room. Private entrance, you will be the only guests. Access to Clara J’s Tea Room during operating hours. (Call to make a reservation if you would like Proper Tea Wednesday-Saturday) Walking distance from many shops, restaurants, bars, a movie theater, and our excellent Metropark! There is not a kitchen. There are NO cleaning fees. The exterior is currently being renovated, but this has no impact on your stay. (2024)

Lockbox entry to the completely private entry basement level includes; sitting area with sofa, chair, large screen Fire TV/; WiFi/ fireplace; queen bed & chest. (Rollaway bed available). A separate side room includes a private shower, sink, eating area with table & chairs, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, & coffee maker; (light breakfast included). The private half bath is located on the main floor at the top of the stairs inside entrance area. Private parking space in front of the home.

A sunroom on the rear of the house looks into a peaceful yard with a brick patio for relaxing. Full laundry. All in the sleepy village of Sylvania.
