Our Airbnb Guesthouse is perched on a hillside surrounded by trees & ferns creating a private, tranquil rural setting. Deer, turkeys & other local wildlife occasionally come to visit. The location is ideal for quiet walks, jogging & bike-riding. It's close to Ricketts Glen State Park's hiking trails & other scenic areas. Welcome to The Sleeping Bear Retreat at Jim Thorpe. Located at the top of the mountain, and only minutes from the center of town, our 2 Bed / 2 Bath carriage house suite offers comfort, privacy and convenient access to everything Jim Thorpe has to offer. While it is not an actual tree house, it is a carriage house surrounded by trees on most sides. The name "Tree House" comes from former guests who named this space, and for that we are forever grateful <3

Quiet, secluded property with private entrance. Located on 10 acres, approximately 5 miles from Ricketts Glen state park. We have ponds stocked with fish, picnic areas, woods, and wildlife. It is a great place for a weekend getaway. There a many restaurants relatively close by to go get dinner at as well. Our property has limited wifi and cell phone service, perfect for an unplugged getaway.
