A-Frame Away on the Olympic Peninsula w/Hot Tub!

Our small A-Frame is nestled in the mountains between beautiful Port Angeles and Sequim, Washington. Our location offers you a central stay to many of the Olympic National Park activities. While the A-Frame is very near our home and has two neighboring houses slightly visible it resides in a private nook amongst the trees. We share a driveway, but you have a designated parking spot. Outside you can enjoy your private deck, hot tub, fire pit, hammock, chicken coop, or walk down the gravel road.

Welcome to Tall Cedars, Experience the Olympic Peninsula at this private, serene hideaway - surrounded by old cedars, ferns, huckleberries & more. It is well equipped for a cozy getaway in the forest, including a hot tub! This home is a short 5-minute drive from the Salt Creek Recreation Area which includes Crescent Beach (surf & sand), Striped Peak (hiking trails & views) & Tongue Point (excellent tide-pooling). Yet just a 20-minute drive from town in Port Angeles for easy shopping & dining.

He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Explore the outdoors on the nearby Discovery Trail (0.08 miles). Visit Sol Duc Hot Springs, Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, and La Push. Forks and Kalaloch are nearby. Enjoy entertainment on two TVs (1 Blu-ray, 1 Wi-Fi), 50 dvds available, but note there's no dishwasher, and Wi-Fi and cell service may be INTERMITTENT.

Mallard Cove is the best place on Lake Sutherland! Our lake-front and massive deck literally get the very last bit of sun all summer long! Our neighborhood is also full of friendly, easy going people. You should have an amazing time! Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!

River House is a 2672sf home on a high bank above the Elwha River across from the Olympic National Park. A deck with a barbeque and a hot tub has views of the River and mountains. The clean air of the Olympics makes for brilliant stars in the deep blue night sky.
