The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Intimate self-contained barn conversion focusing on creating warm & inviting accommodation independent from main house. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean & sanitise frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Five mins Chelmsford City Racecourse, 4 mins Hatfield Peverel train station to London, 25 mins Stansted Airport, 30 mins Colchester. Oakwrights is in the middle of Chelmsford, Braintree and Witham all only 10 mins drive.

Primrose Lodge in Maldon

Perfectly located in a peaceful haven, only a 5 minute walk to Maldon's high street with it's vast array restaurants, cafes and bars as well as many boutique shops. Beautiful walks from Maldon including Beeleigh falls. There is also the renowned Maldon Promenade to visit. Offering a self contained annexe split over two floors. Clean towels, fresh bed linen and toiletries are provided as well as a coffee machine, tea, sugar and milk, TV and WFI.

St George’s Cosy Cabin with Jacuzzi Hot Tub

The cabin is set within a privately owned lane surrounded by woods and farmland. Situated within the grounds of our house it can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot, highchair and 2 single airbeds are available. It boasts a large patio with sunbeds and quality furniture and the jacuzzi is an added luxury, £20 is requested via this app if used. There is a large fully stocked fishpond of which guests are welcome to feed.

St Peter's Cottage, Essex countryside
