Boddington Mill is a stunning countryside retreat in the heart of the Cotswolds, steeped in history and rural charm. The building retains industrial mill parts which intersect multiple levels for a unique and generous living space. Its south-facing garden includes outside dining, wood-fired hot tub, and large lawn, home to wildlife and fruit-bearing trees. This wonderful retreat sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty with the most magnificent views looking to the Brecon Beacons 50km and beyond. It’s peaceful and quiet location is nestled on the side of the Malvern Hills within just a few minutes walk you can get to a quaint pub, a friendly cafe/shop and many footpaths taking you directly onto the Hills.

Cosy cottage in the Malverns

Recently renovated Kingsland Cottage, situated in the centre of Colwall village is perfect for a relaxing break at any time of the year. To the front there is an off road parking space and a self-contained garden. There are pubs and a cafe within walking distance and local walking trails start in the village. Great Malvern is 3 miles over the hill and the ancient town of Ledbury 5 miles in the other direction. Direct trains run from London to Colwall station, 5 minutes' walk from the cottage.

Wells Cottage, a house beside the Malvern Hills

The path up the Hills starts across the road; a short walk leads to Holy Well, the ancient spring which won Malvern its reputation for pure waters. Beyond that a shady zigzag leads to the ridge of the Hills, with views on all sides; from the Cotswolds to the Welsh mountains. They say on a clear day you can see fourteen counties.

The recently restored Old Forge is set in beautiful countryside, yet is less than two miles from Great Malvern. It offers an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which opens onto a west facing patio where guests can enjoy outstanding views of the Malvern Hills. The Old Forge has a separate sleeping area with king size bed and ensuite shower room. The hills, Malvern Theatre and the Three Counties Showground, are all within a 5-10 minute drive. Pubs nearby and beautiful walks from the door.
