Our property has 24 acres of paddocks and Manuka forest bordered by the beautiful Buller and Gowan rivers and National Park. Large Park like garden. An easy 15 minute drive from Murchison at the convergence of the Tutaki you will find Mangles Valley Paradise. Surrounded by stunning native bush clad hills the property is situated in an elevated position enjoying spectacular 360 degree views with the Tutaki River flowing gently below. A short drive over the Braeburn Track will take you to beautiful Lake Rotoroa in the heart of the Neson Lakes. If you want to wake up to the sound of the river & native birds - this is the place for you.

The Woodsman's Den, St Arnaud, Nelson Lakes

The Woodsman's Den is a 2 bedroom guesthouse set in your own private corner of our 10 acre property. An amazingly secluded haven that looks out on lush native forest. Wake up to the cacophony of birdsong, fresh mountain air and a sense of well-being. The surrounding area sits nestled amongst the mountains and has an array of outdoor activities on offer. Or how about snuggling by the fire with a book, soaking in the hot tub or wandering down the road to one of the local eateries.

St Arnaud is a peaceful alpine village. Excellent location for lake activities, bush walks, adventurous tramping expeditions, mountain biking and accessing Rainbow Ski Field. The Bach is located within an easy 8 minute walking distance to the shop & petrol station, 12 minutes walk to the lake and 14 minutes walk to the Nelson Lakes DOC Visitor Centre. Spend time walking, biking, boating or skiing. Then relax in the calm, cosiness of the Bach.

Stargazer's Cabin is located on the back of the property at Nelson Lakes Homestay. It has one bedroom, a lounge, and a kitchen. Nelson Lakes Homestay is adjacent to Nelson Lakes National Park and Te Araroa Trail, just 4 km from St Arnaud and beautiful Lake Rotoiti. Enjoy spectacular mountain views among expansive grounds with native gardens and native birds. And on clear nights, view the Milky Way in stunning clarity!
