With raw poplar walls, the cabin offers a full-sized bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, air conditioning, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. Spacious lake cottage just one lot from the lakefront in a quiet wooded Raccoon Lake neighborhood. The property features a great room & a large screened-in side deck and open deck, a second living room & spacious kitchen providing plenty of room for guests to mingle and spread out. Exit the front door, take the path to shared stairs to the cove and in minutes you can be at the seawall on a beautiful, serene lake cove (access must be requested at the time of rental and incurs a $15/day fee).

The 1938 Barn

The 1938 Barn is located in the ❤ of Covered Bridge Country in Parke County. You will love the rustic charm of this converted hay barn built in 1938. Come relax by the camp fire or explore our many Covered Bridges and local State Parks. The farm also hosts Henry's Market, a market garden providing fresh meat and vegetables which makes summertime an excellent time to visit! Please note: There is NO WI-FI, NO CABLE. We have a selection of DVDs. Limited cell service, AT&T works best.
