This totally off-grid 1345 acre property has its own solar power system, harvests all its own water and is located on the outskirts of the Atherton Tablelands in the farming district of Dimbulah on route to Mt Mulligan and Chillagoe. Just constructed with 2 large bedrooms both with spacious ensuites, separated by a welcoming kitchen/dining/living area with a generous verandah across the front of the house.

Here a fully self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental and historical features.

The outdoor firepit & bbq makes it the perfect spot to relax with platypus sighting & occasional Tree Kangaroo visit. Property has direct access to the river for a lazy arvo.

Retreat to a little piece of paradise, with a large pool at your doorstep, and the beach a quick stroll away. Close to Palm Cove and 30 min drive to the city. In our tropical garden, the beach themed guest house has all the comforts of home. Spacious, air conditioned, with kitchen, bbq, and pool side furniture. Free wifi + Netflix. Spacious studio at Ramada Resort

A spacious hotel-style studio room at Ramada Resort. The studio is self-serviced, with some kitchen facilities (kettle, Nespresso machine, microwave, fridge), and a large bathroom. The studio has its own FREE wifi. The room is in a great location within the resort, which has a lush rainforest atmosphere, and a wonderful pool. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. Please note that Ramada is at the quiet end of Port Douglas - it is about 10 minutes to the town centre by car or shuttle bus.

The Cubby Luxury Nature Retre

From the modern luxurious interior, you can soak up nature at its finest. The platypus, other waterlife and birdlife are visible from the breakfast / cocktail bar as well as from the bathtub or outdoor shower. Enjoy the peace and quiet, abundant wildlife and various walking tracks on our 20ha property adjacent to World Heritage Forest. A great central place to explore the beautiful Tablelands. Most guests wished they could have stayed longer so consider to stay an extra night.
